Probably a silly question, but can this subwoofer be laid on its side and still function as intended?

BEST ANSWER: It really depends on the room. You will get a bass boost by doing that though.

I am confused by the listed dimensions. The M-210 Dual is listed as (LxWxH) 23.6" x 17.7" x 36.4". The M-212 Dual says 36.4" x 17.7" x 23.6". Exactly the same, but different order. Do these two subs have exactly the same dimensions? If not, how are they different?

BEST ANSWER: The M-210 and M-212 share the same cabinet, however the M-210 employs dual 10" woofers vs the M-212 with dual 12" woofers, that's 4 extra inches of air movement, so if you have a big room, you will benefit from the bigger woofers.

I planned on placing this Subwoofer horizontally under my Center Channel Speaker and my TV on top of both, my questions are
1). Will I have problems with my TV vibrating off even if I use Subwoofer Isolation Pads between the Subwoofer and the Center Channel Speaker?
2). How many SVS Subwoofer Isolation System Pads do you think I should use underneath the M-212 Subwoofer?
3). Do you think I should scratch my idea of placing it horizontally under my Center Channel Speaker & TV altogether and place it vertically in the room some-where?

BEST ANSWER: The cabinets are inert; you could set a glass of water on it with the sub rocking and they’ll be virtually no ripples. The cabinet is vibration free

The best bang for my buck that I have ever purchased
I have two of them Monoprice M12 with medium sized room and there they are incredible I picked the subwoofers because I thought they would be excellent for music and home theater and it wasn't going to suck all the electricity out of the wall the performance you get out of these subwoofers is well worth every penny you won't look back.

Can?t wait to see what this sub can do!
Haven?t really pushed this sub to what it can do, but so far I?ve been really impressed. May snag another one.
