how it works, how do I connect it to my 2006 Honda Civic car radio?

BEST ANSWER: Your car will need a female 3.5 mm trs Aux jack (the size most headphone cables are) to plug the Bluetooth transmitter/receiver into. The Bluetooth connects to your phone and plays incoming audio through the Aux jack, the receiver has a built in mic to pick up your talking too. The lighter port charger is just for charging the receiver or any other usb chargeable device.

how do you change the bluetooth part while it's plugged into the car stereo aux? the diagram shown in the description only shows a 3.5mm plug on the bluetooth part, and does not show a USB jack or any other jack on the bluetooth part. Is the power jack just missing on the description diagram?

BEST ANSWER: The audio jack plugs into the aux port of the car. The charger can be plugged into the outlet and the cable that comes with the unit can be plugged into the charging part while the other part is plugged into the aux port. You can also charge your phone on the charger part at the same time due to the dual charging ports.

BEST ANSWER: It appears there are to components to this product: 1. A 2.4A car charger with two USB-A sockets that can be used to charge a device. 2. A "dockable" Bluetooth Audio Receiver that can be removed from the charger and plugged into a car's AUX jack to act as an interface between a device and the car's stereo via Bluetooth. And a third bonus feature is the "hands free" phone controls on the receiver part that plugs into the AUX jack.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
If you are referring to the separate adapter that would depend on what charger and cable you are using.
Since it is only 300mAh capacity it would not take more than an hour using any modern cable and USB charger.
You can also use the built in Qi charger to charge through the car charger which would charge at about the same rate.

BEST ANSWER: if you have a home audio system that does NOT have Bluetooth but DOES have a 3.5mm auxiliary input ... you would have this gadget presumably plugged into your car's cigarette lighter jack to charge it ... when you want to listen to some music on your home audio system you would first run out to your car ... grab the top section of this gadget only (leave the bottom section in the car) ... run back into your house ... plug this into your stereo system's auxiliary input ... pair it to your Bluetooth source (e.g. smartphone) ... and you're now running audio through this device into your home audio system ... but its battery runs down after 7 hours ... at which point you run it back out to your car to recharge it ... practical? ... not really ... but is it a feasible option for a home audio system? ... yes ... it would work

While I have the unit plugged into the AUX port will I be able to listen to the satellite radio? Or can I use the Sirius app on my android phone?
A shopper
on Jun 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: If your car stereo (presuming that is what you mean) is like mine, there are different modes. When the stereo's mode is on AUX, it pipes audio from the AUX jack to the speakers. When the mode is SAT, it pipes the satellite radio to the speakers. The direct answer to your question is: yes, you will be able to still listen to satellite radio so long as you select the correct mode to switch between SAT and AUX. If you use the Sirius app on your phone, you will need to use AUX along with this device and use the phone for all satellite radio features.

I see a port around the corner of the volume up button. What is that, microUSB?? Does this mean I can separately purchase a USB cable, in order to continuously play audio, even when the device needs to charge?
If my understanding is correct, can you just sell me the 3.5mm Bluetooth receiver for half of the price? I don't want the combo 2.4 dual usb charger. I already have one which I bought years ago from you guys and it works perfectly, there is absolutely no need for me to upgrade it and I don't like overkill/waste. I guess I could gift it, but that would be awkward and I also don't want to pay for it.
The other small bluetooth 3.5mm available is much uglier than this one (and it is less functionality to memory aANND currently out of stock).

Good but needs to hold together structurally
Though I like the design and features, when I pull the receiver out of the aux jack the outer shell comes apart and I have to rebuild it every time.

Good enough
I have two of these: one for a jobsite radio and the other for a vehicle. The quality is average for bluetooth but it seems for some reason phone calls output to the stereo at a much lower strength. Get a 1.5' or 3' microUSB cable for continuous charging as one is not included. I have also replaced the power section with PID 30947.

If you need a device, this is it! Can?t beat the price, there basically is NO install, just connect to it and go! It works as advertised, but I'll be sticking with an auxiliary cable due to the loss of fidelity through Bluetooth. Maybe this is an issue with all Bluetooth receivers and not just this product, but I was hoping to declutter and ditch the cable.

Pros: Decent sound quality, small, microphone works well, works as advertised.
Cons: You need to manually turn it on and off getting in and out of the vehicle, does not automatically connect to phone - you have to manually select the device in your bluetooth settings every time the device is turned on.
