Yes, it gets very hot. I put mine on a heat sink to try and help it out, but even so eventually it cooked itself, and it is not longer functional.

I've been using this with a 16" MacBook Pro, which has a 100 W power supply, using the USB-C power delivery feature. It can get fairly warm, but not too hot to touch. I haven't measured the temperature, though. That remained steady after several hours of use with 2 USB 2.0 devices attached and connected to a 100BaseT Ethernet connection.

Mine has been getting very hot. Using the original MacBook Air charger with cord. Sometimes I plug a usb A in for charging my phone, sometimes I use it on USB C. When I plugged in ethernet and my phone it was getting extremely hot. Doesn't seem to charge my MacBook fast at all.

Yes, though it depends what is attached to it. It'll get warm if you just have one thing plugged in, but if you have a monitor, hub, Ethernet etc then yes it gets hot.

Typically, no. Most computers cannot process a mixed output signal through a USB-C adapter (VGA being a low resolution signal and HDMI being a high-resolution signal). I've tried it on various Macs and a few PC's with no luck. However, if you have two USB C adapters you should be able to get a signal to VGA and HDMI that way.

Yes you can. I have a MacBook Air 2021 that I am using, Plug my original charger (or any high wattage USB-c) into the Power Delivery port (which shows a solid line with dashed line below) and then plugged into the USB-C on my MacBook. It charges (albeit slower than normal) and all ports a re functional and work great. The device does heat up quite a bit which is concerning though.

Gets very hot
I have used it for two days in a row now since I got it delivered. Use it on my MacBook Air M1 2021 and it charges fine and all ports appear to function as normal. I have had multiple items all plugged into it at the same time and didn't have anything out of the ordinary happen besides slower charging, which was expected. One thing is the device has been getting very hot which is concerning.

Plugged in with charging MacBook, iPhone, and iPad.
