Would this work for a horizontal 32 inch monitor and a portrait 27 inch monitor?
A shopper
on Feb 8, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Possibly, but you’ll want to make sure the weight distribution is equal. I used two 24” monitors, one portrait and one landscape, and the arm had a slight tendency to lean to one side. Also worth considering the ergonomics- this mount aligns the center of the displays, which I found weird but workable. Two separate, articulated mounting arms would let you align the top or bottom of the screens.

Probably, but it depends on your monitors. Max distance between the middle of the mounting points is 25.8". This should be fine with most monitors, but measure yours to be certain. This would honestly fit a lot of slim bezel 32" monitors side by side. Max Height is 18.5", again to the middle of the mount point. So it should fit either monitor in portrait mode easily.

I don't think so. If it does, it will be super tight width wise.

Keep in mind that monitors are measured in diagonal sizes. As per the specs of this unit, the maximum width is 25". That means That the maximum total width of each monitor can only be 25". I wasted my time and ordered these because I have 27" monitors that are VERY slim, and they overlap by about 1.5". Measure your monitors before ordering. It is a beautiful mount, but there is no margin for error.

When the two monitors are mounted, can they be angled inwards towards each other so that they form a "V"?

on Dec 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the VESA bracket on this mount has a half-ball joint the could be tilted +/- 10 degrees, so it can provide some "toe" in. However its angle range is limited, so if getting the V shape is important, you would get more adjustment options with products like 24588, 15525, 33536, and 16246. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Hi Michael,
The monitors can't be angled, the bracket has no tilt adjustment available to it.

BEST ANSWER: They certainly can touch. The is a wide range of vertical and horizontal adjustment. They worked perfectly for me with a pair of LG 27” monitors with plenty of slack left for more adjustments.

Yes, the monitors can touch in the middle without issue. I think they separate them in the pictures to show that there's 2 monitors mounted rather than one ultra wide monitor.

We would not have any instructions on how to modify our mounts but you could use just one of the adapters and move it as close as you can to the middle of the vertical arm.

What is the total depth from the vesa mount to the back of the mount ?
A shopper
on May 11, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It's about 5 1/2-inches from the back of the VESA plate to the back of the mount. I say it's about 5 1/2", because it's about 1 3/4" from the VESA to the bar. And it's 3 3/4" from the bar to the back of the wingnut, which is the furthest part of the mount.

what is the height max?
A shopper
on Dec 30, 2022
BEST ANSWER: The max height of the adjustable horizontal arm is 19" from the surface of the table/desk that the stand is mounted on. The height of your specific monitor will depend upon the location of the VESA mounting screws on the monitor that you are mounting, as different models have the VESA screws in different locations, such as the top or middle of the monitor.

Really solid mount
This is a really solid mount. Very sturdy, with no wobble on the monitors. Easy to assemble and mount. For the price, this is a fantastic mount. I've used a lot of mounts and this one is better than most, especially at this price point. No fancy articulating arm, but for a static mount I haven't seen any better.

Solid option for desks flush with walls - MAX CLAMP WIDTH is 1"!!
I putzed around with the gas spring dual monitor stand option, and couldn't get it to work as my desk is flush with the wall behind it, and for 2x27" monitors, it required ~8" of space behind it to align the monitors together.
Woof.
Ordered this as my need was to free up desk space, and have the desk against the wall.
Job done.
However! Be aware that to clamp this stand to the desk, without drilling and/or existing holes the maximum desk width is 1".
Yes, 1 inch.
If your desk has a lip, or is somewhat thick you'll have to drill.

not flashy, but got the job done and gets pretty flush with the wall.
This turned out pretty ok. I got it because none of the articulating arms out there would go flush to the wall. I wish there was some kind of happy medium - like if I could pull the monitors on this one in or out a couple of inches.. but anyway, it went together pretty easily, looks nice, and is holding everything up well. The cable management bit is basic, but it's doing the job and was easier to set up than any other ones I've used.

Super Clean and Effective Mount
Stating the obvious, this mount is intended for two identical displays, sitting side-by-side, optionally with a mild 'V' angle. Everything is solid and clean, and the result looks fabulous.
Only reason I didn't give it five stars: the ball joints that fine-tune the monitors (leveling, fore-aft tilt, 'V' angle) are pretty stiff, even after loosening their bolt a full turn. Takes a bit of effort to get the placement dialed in. Assuming like me you're going to set it and forget it, this really isn't a big deal.
Great mount at a great price.

Workstream by Monoprice Dual Monitor Low Profile Flat-Clamp Mount for Screens Up to 27" vs. Workstream by Monoprice Smooth Full Motion Dual Monitor Adjustable Gas Spring Desk Mount
I picked this because I have dual 27" monitors and a standing desk that is pushed up against a wall. I previously purchased the "Workstream by Monoprice Dual Monitor Adjustable Gas Spring Desk Mount for 15~34in Monitors" and while I love the stand, I can't move my monitors together because the monitor arms need to stick back further behind the desk - they need to "bend" behind the desk in order to touch the 27 monitors together, and thus stick out behind the desk, which there is no room. So when using that monitor stand, the monitors were almost a foot apart.
However, this monitor arm does allow me to perfectly adjust the monitors so that they are touching each other. I was initially worried that I would max out this arm since I have dual 27" monitors (Lenovo ThinkVision P27h), and I was worried it would be the limit of the rated 27" capacity. But actually, due to the tiny bezels on the monitor, there is room to spare.
It's not quite as easy to move the monitors up and down with this base, as it requires reaching behind the monitors and then loosening a large wing-nut to loosen the monitors in the arm, then move the monitors and then tighten back up to keep in place. Compare that to the ease of adjusting the dual-independent arms of the Gas Spring mount, where the spring keeps the right amount of pressure on the arm so you can move the monitor one-handed and it just stays in place, perfectly. Also, the Gas Spring model made it easier to rotate the monitors from horizontal to vertical if you wanted to do that. However, I really dont need to move my monitors once I got them adjusted to the right position.
Even though there are fewer features than the Gas Spring version, it actually has a "cleaner" look on my desk due to the single pillar coming from the desk vs. the two independent arms for each monitor. It also is much cheaper - half the price.
