I have a iPad 2018 with a 12" display. My existing cable is dying. I know it requires a more powerful cable than my iPhone. Does anyone know if this cable works well with an iPad 2018 with a 12" display?

BEST ANSWER: It should be fine. I’ve used a variety of cables from Monoprice for both iPhones and a 2018 12.9 iPad Pro and have had no problems. The thing to look for is the Apple MiFi certification, as is the case with this one. That ensures the cable is designed fir use with iPhones and iPads.

While I don’t have an Apple iPad 12”. I can confidently say that these are the only cables that I’ll ever buy again. Value, performance, warranty. Seriously. Don’t give it too much thought and try em out!

This cable works fine with my iPad. I think it matters more about the charger than the cable though so make sure you use a charger with at least 2.1-2.4 amps.

I use this cable on the iPhone 11 as well as older iPads and iPhone XS with no problem the cable should have no problem as the 11 has the larger power supply.

Looks great; works great!
I picked up several of these in different colors as part of a custom charging station I built into a drawer. They are cute and work great. Have had no issues with quality.

Excellent 5 Star Cable but...
The Atlas flex cables I purchased are excellent well constructed cables that should stand the test of hard use and time due the molded strain reliefs at each end of the Kevlar-nylon cable, but I still prefer the Monoprice Luxe series Lightning cables because of the LED charging status indicator in the lightning tip end of the cables. I find the LED extremely useful in locating the end of the cable in a dark room and knowing the charge status of the iPhone or iPad without the need to waken the device and look at the display. Ditto for my AirPods no need to open the case to see Apple's charge indicator LED.
Monoprice should add the LED status indicator to the Atlas series cables and they would have a 10 star product (and could discontinue the predecessor products).

Looks great, but doesnt work
I bought this cable for use in my car to connect my phone to the radio without having a long cable length draped around. Im not sure why, but it only works for a few seconds before the sound goes out and radio displays a check USB malfunction. The Apple lightning cable and some others I already have work flawlessly.
