I have an older (about 14 years old) Denon A/V and a brand new LG OLED 75" tv. Is this cable compatible? My older cable has trouble carrying the video signal.

BEST ANSWER: The cable should be fine, it may be more of a problem with the older Denon receiver. HDMI is a very fussy connection, and there are times I will find the older technology to not be as compatible.

Yes, but also no, though your Denon receiver might also have issues. This can do 4k60c. It cannot do HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or 120FPS

My Sony 5000 ES receiver has an HDMI repeater, in the enhanced mode, sending a 4 k 60 hz 4:4:4, I have signal drop at 15 feet. Active cables, certified HDR cables have signal drop or sparkles. Adding another repeater, didn’t work. Will the fiber optic HDMI have better chance of,sending the full signal?

I would like to run this cable through the 2x4 studs in my wall. Is it slim enough to run through 3/4 inch holes or do the holes need to be any bigger?

BEST ANSWER: The connector on the end is 3/4" wide x 3/8" thick. I used a 1" drill without a problem.

Flawless with a 4k 60Hz signal and Dolby Atmos
I have a 30 foot version of this cable and it passes 4k 60Hz signal in HDR with Dolby Atmos audio coming out of a matrix switcher no problem. When I first installed the cable, I tested it once in the wall with an XBox One in 4k 60Hz with DTS audio and it passed that signal with no problems as well.

Great cable ...
I need a long run HDMI connection between my Panasonic UB-9000 Bluray Player and B&O Harmony TV. I found this cable on sale and so I gave it a try. But it didnt disappoint me. It is flexible to bend and more importantly, the picture quality is astonishing. It has better details (using MP DynamicView before) when I watched the movie Dunkirk. Overall the picture quality is superb. Strongly recommended to all videophile folks.

Perfect for home movie theater
I used this cable for an in-wall run between my TV and home theatre PC located on the other side of the room. It was very thin and easy to run, and the picture/audio quality is fantastic!

Amazing Product
I had some long video runs to make at our church, and was dreading the costs and reliability issues of converting back and forth from twisted-pair... then I came across these Fiber HDMI cables. What a great problem-solver - worked great with the Switcher/Scaler and HDMI splitter I got to feed multiple TVs - perfect signal even over long runs, and no EDID or other problems. I was amazed that everything worked on the first try (and nobody has been able to mess it up yet!)

Solid performer
Just installed two of these cables from Monoprice. My first HDMI fiber optic cable from monoprice and it's a winner. I have purchased and installed the same tech from FSR and these are easily as good.

Awesome High Speed Cable for Long Runs
I have a 30 Foot run from my receiver to my display...this cable is perfect and lossless....Only downside is no ARC support - but that is what you get when you have a directional cable!
