Does anyone know if this cooler can be stored in akitchen cabinet? Specifically, I’m concerned about heat dissipation and risk of fire.

BEST ANSWER: Changing the temp is easy. Soft buttons on the front panel. Hold the settings button and then up and down controls to adjust from 46 degrees to 64 degrees in one degree increments. Has a light on and off for interior viewing thru the glass door.

Umm, seriously? On the top front panel to the right of the temperature readout, you will see a downward pointing arrow (caret) and an upward pointing arrow (caret). You put your finger on them and press to change the temp. Easy peasy.

There are two chevrons (Up and down arrows) to the right of the digital temperature display to adjust the temperature of the cooler. However, the temperature cannot be brought below 46 F)

how many amps does this fridge draw? would i be able to run it on the same circuit as my regular fridge?
Lucas W
on Aug 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't know the amps drawn but mine is plugged into an outlet in a laundry room that typically runs a small lamp or coffee maker. I can't imagine this thing drawing much power. I believe this is on the same circuit as my refrigerator.

I have never had a problem. I'm convinced it's a minimal amp draw

I don’t know what the specs are but I would think so. It’s not a large unit.

Can this be set to 42 - 46 degrees Fahrenheit? My main question is can this be used for serving beer at the right temperature?

BEST ANSWER: I would almost guarantee that adding a copper heat-sinking layer to the hot (outside) of the Peltier thermo-electric cooling module's heatsink stack and fan, and adding a couple of more amps of current to it would do the job. But you would need to hack the display board's controller to adjust the thermostat's minimum temp setting to make it display 42. You could also upgrade the module to a bigger one, or stack two, hot to cold, hot to cold, but that would probably take a new power supply. People do stuff like this all the time, and a good search of the net will reveal the mods. You just have to be willing and able, and know that you would void the warranty. This unit has no moving parts(except fans), and it is easier than it may appear. I've made similar setups with these thermo-electric modules, which cost a few bucks online, with CPU coolers or big heat sinks (on both sides or module will burn up) and cheap Chinese temperature controller to use as a cheap DIY temperature test chamber. This unit looks like it is very hack-able to me, so I'm guessing someone has already done it and posted a video.

What are the interior dimensions? Could I remove the shelves and store an open bottle in an upright position?
A shopper
on Dec 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It doesn't seem like anyone has bought this yet, but I will try to help you. If you look at the 3rd picture over from the right, you can see that the shelves come out. It also states that in the manual, since they are packed separately. For the inside dimensions, I would guesstimate by taking the dimensions of a wine bottle's diameter and height, plus the necessary gap between them and the walls to come up with this. It looks to me like it's 2 wine bottle diameters plus 3" wide, 1 upright wine bottle's height deep plus 1 inch (minimum), and 4 wine bottles diameters plus about 4" tall. You would never want your wine bottles tops touching the door, so I bet they slid them out for the photos. Hope that helps....

Great little fridge
Arrived sooner than expected. Is pretty lightweight, and actually fits on a kitchen counter.Looks good, isn't too loud, and keeps a steady temperature.Only reason I've deducted one star is because it seems just sliiiightly unlevel.

Great "classy" present
Gave this as a gift and my friend loved it so much, she literally screamed. It has a small profile, lights up a bit to look a little fancy. Great for any wine lover (and there's a lot of them)!

Very happy with my purchase
Almost exactly what I was needing. It is has attractive appearance, nice price, quiet, easy to operate and takes up small counter top space. Only “con” is that it is not easy to use non-standard width bottles. I can get them in but requires a little extra work and turning them in backwards. All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Perfect for keeping a few special bottles available
I bought this and gave it as a gift to a friend. He was delighted. It is small, quiet, and works perfectly for keeping a few bottles of white or a dinner party size serving of sparkling wine at a certain temperature and ready to serve. He has a larger frig in the wine cellar but this is perfect to have a white kept at the right temperature for a weekend. It's certainly quiet and compact. the only critique is that it needs more room than its dimensions to the motors (quiet as they are) to vent.
