    Are the "select series" cables shielded for increased noise immunity?

    BEST ANSWER: I don't think they technically are, but I will say that they are some of the thickest microUSB cables that I have used. That might help somewhat. I do use it with a lot of other electronics around and have not noticed any interference.

    It's a really good quality cable
    The build is solid. The micro connection is strong enough that you can hang it vertically from the cable, not that I'd recommend doing that for any extended period of time.

    PROS: Good build
    secure connection

    CONS: None, as long you don't mistake 6 inches for 6 feet like some moron I know

    Love these with Obsidian 5 port smart chargers
    I love these, I use multiple Obsidian 5 port smart chargers and I have at least one of these in each Obsidian rig I own. The shorter the length the faster the charge, so I love using these and with the Obsidian multi-port chargers, I love the thought of having friends and family be able to charge their stuff when I am around.

    It's a USB Cable
    Does exactly what you would expect. it's a short, quality USB cable. I use a few of them for connecting a stack of raspberry pi's to a USB hub.
    The only thing worth noting beyond that, is that this is 6 inches from tip to tip. The "cable" itself is only 3-4 inches long.

    So far, so good!
    I bought these to use when I connect my phone to an external battery pack. They are the perfect size so you can hold both items without a long cord dangling between them. Jury is still out as to there durability but the they work great now.

    I wish they had a 12 inch but he 6 inch are working. I could of used a little more length for my tablets. They are on a charging holder and the smart phone plugs are fine but the tablets stand vertical so 12 inches would of been better

    the only good this short of a cable is good for is to charge something you dont plan to use, like maybe your phone overnight while you sleep
