It does what it is supposed to do. I needed something to hook a monitor into a surface pad. The colors are a bit changed from pad to monitor, bu that might be the monitor and not the adapter. Thanks, best value for money out there.

Performs as required and a good value. Always a nice item to have when adapting technology. Now I can use an older monitor with my Mac.

Well, the price was great. But the issue that I have with it is that when I go to screw the adapter into the cord from the monitor…it doesn’t really fit well. I have two screws on the cord that are supposed to nest into the adapter and only one side can be forced on. The other side won’t rest flat on the adapter. Apple products always fit correctly, but this adapter is not Apple. I would have returned it but for the fact that I gave the monitor as a gift.
