BEST ANSWER: Yes you need one HDMI to 3G Converter (sender) to the 3G splitter. Then one 3G to HDMI receiver for each monitor.

Yes, that works. HDMI feed to the converter, SDI coax from converter to splitter. Works good!

BEST ANSWER: Yes it does. Currently user this at a church outputting 1080i 59.94 from an atem switcher

Does this unit (and the smaller ones) re-clock the signal?

BEST ANSWER: I have used the 8 ch and 4 and four channel versions without issue. To the best of my knowledge these devices buffer(electronicaly isolate) and redistribute the digital stream they are fed. I do not believe they decode imbedded clock signals and replace it, but simply pass on the digital information they are presented as they are presented it.

Can this slitter be use with free TV antenna?

BEST ANSWER: only if the tv antenna is sdi then yes it will split the signal. But I am not aware of any free tv antenna that is SDI standard

Cannot find warranty terms on item page. Under Help menu, Monoprice states to look carefully for warranty terms as different items have different warranty terms, but cannot find for this item?

this is a fantastic SDI D/A couldnt ask for more. only complaintis that 2 of the outputs failed on me after two years of use

Awesome would buy again!
Worked absolutely perfectly. I've used HDbaseT befor and for a lot more money. And these were just as good and a lot cheeper and easier to use.

I can't find anything wrong with this unit. It does what it says at a very low cost compared to Black-Magic design, AJA, Kramer, and others.
