Is this "DC Power Pass" splitter OK to use in a Cable TV/ MOCA setup? Is the DC PASS an issue or cause potential problems, or is this completely safe and perfect to use?
i mounted my antenna on a Dish Network pole after removing the dish and used this splitter to route the signal to all three of my TVs using the Dish coax cables.
great product! I used this to split the signal from my over the air tv antenna at my house. I know this is not an amplifier, but, it improved the signal strength and I am picking up stations more stable than before.
A friend who is a cable tech told me to "only use 5-1000 MHz" splitters when splitting cable TV signals. Given the low price, I opted to give this one a try anyway. It split my Comcast signal just fine, with no perceived additional loss (yes, there had to be some additional loss, but I could not notice it).
