the price is incredible, the gauge is great however the ends do not lock in good. and vibrate and disconnect. i have tried them on different speakers and amps and they seem to not snap in locking position on anything.

I purchased 2 sets of these (4 total) and as one other reviewer mentioned, they are somewhat loose. 3 of the 4 do not work at all without lifting the connector either at the speaker, amplifier or both. I can switch back and fourth with original Neutrik connectors and they work perfectly. Tried this with 3 sets of PA speakers, and the Monoprice cables were a no go or were intermittent. It seems that the metal conductors on the inside of these are not pressed out as deep.

PROS: Excellent quality wire - very heavy duty. Nice assortment of lengths on the Monoprice web site. Excellent price for the perceived product being advertised.

CONS: Connector intermittent and not reliable. I will be purchasing original Neutrik connectors to put onto these cables for piece of mind. Based on my order history (1 set about 6 months ago, and 1 set recently), and the fact that these connectors are still showing the same issue, I would not recommend them unless you want to replace the connectors anyway.

The connectors are a little loose when seated, but they do make perfect contact. The wires are soldered on the tip before being inserted into the connector, so even if the screws come loose the wire won't fall out. Clever. Heavy gauge wire and thick insulation. I have eight of them on my HiFi and I recommend them.

PROS: Good wire gauge ans stranding.

Good assembly workmanship.

CONS: No color options for the back shell.

A little loose in a Neutrik mating connector.
