I use these cables to run from a consumer receiver with RCA pre-amp outputs to studio monitors with XLR inputs. This is the perfect cable for the job, no adapters needed. High quality cable and connectors. Works great.

This is a nice cable, its being used on a Emotiva Ultra Sub10. The cable feels heavy and is very flexible which makes it nice for routing purposes. It feels even better than your standard digi-coax. I didnt compare a sound difference but the sub10 sounds amazing though.

I will second toby's comment on shipping. Too many other merchants online these days spoil us with same day shipping, even when ordered rather late in the day. But a order placed before 10:00am merchant time on a Friday that does not make it to UPS until Monday is a downer.

I needed a set of cables to hook up my DJ mixer to my new powered speakers that was not available at my local musicians supply center (you fill in the name). What they wanted to sell me was a combination of an high dollar cable and an adapter. I bought their stuff and found that while it sounded good, did not fit properly into the rca outputs on the mixer and over time would have been a huge problem. I pieced together a combination of cables and adapters from my stash of stuff, but the sound was poor. I had lots of hissing, buzzing, and humming.
I found monoprice from a DJ forum and am so glad that I did. When my new cables arrived I was incredibly impressed with how thick they were and the sound was completely free of hissing and humming. All I heard was the music!!!
I have already passed out the website to my band and DJ friends.

I recently purchased two unpowered home theater subwoofers along with a 1000 watt pro amp. The amp only has XLR inputs and my receiver has a single RCA subwoofer output. I purchased the 25 foot Male RCA to Male XLR cable am extremely impressed by it. The cable is extremely flexible and doesnt kink up at all. It eliminated the nasty hum I was getting from the very cheap cable I had been using. This is my third monoprice purchase and it definitely wont be the last. I recommend monoprice to everyone I can!
