15ft Premier Series 1/4-inch (TS) Right Angle Male to Right Angle Male 16AWG Audio Cable (Gold Plated)

Connect speakers and other audio equipment with this Premium 1/4" TS Patch Cable with 90-degree connectors from Monoprice!

This unbalanced cable features 90-degree TS/Mono plugs on each end. It uses 16 AWG stranded, pure copper conductors and employs copper braid shielding with 97.5% coverage to ensure that stray radio frequency and electromagnetic signals do not degrade the audio quality of your performance. The plugs are gold plated to provide smooth, corrosion-free connections as well as maximum electrical conductivity.

Note that this cable is intended for general audio use. For high-end, low-noise performance and recording use we recommend our Cloth Series cables, PIDs 601410, 601415, and 601420.

Unfortunately useless for playing an instrument. If these cords were intended for musical use ( playing guitar, bass, etc ) I can't honestly believe they were tested by anyone at monoprice .

very unfortunate as I've never had issues with other monoprice items. Wasn't even worth my time to return the cord or get a refund. I only bought one as a test.

    PROS: inexpensive

    CONS: noisy

    Beautiful but unusable
I love mono price, they have saved me a tremendous amount of money over the years. BUT, these cables are not the case. I will be discarding them.

PROS: Nice fit and feel, they seem like truly nice cables. Cheap price.

CONS: They are unusable for most cases because they are ridiculously microphonic. Even just tapping the cable.

Microphonic to the point of being useless
Until they start using a different cable, DO NOT BUY THESE. As stated in several other reviews, the cables generate all kinds of noise with any movement at all. I bought three and they all display the same issue. I have no doubt that Monoprice will address the problem and release a "version 2" of this series of cables. Until then, I suggest you steer clear.

    PROS: Very pretty

CONS: Microphonic to the point of being useless

15ft Premier Series 1/4-inch (TS) Right Angle Male to Right Angle Male 16AWG Audio Cable (Gold Plated)
Superior quality built cable. The right angle connector is perfect for when I'm sitting on the couch playing my guitar. I had a straight cable before, but I was afraid that putting it on a bind would damage my guitar. From now on, I will only buy my cables from Monoprice!!!

PROS: Great Cable - Great Price! What else can I say?!!!

    CONS: None

    Can't be beat
These cables are as good as any brand I've ever bought. They are great on stage, they have a real low profile at outputs and inputs so the ends are much less likely to be broken or bent. They are quiet for live performance, haven't tried them for recording yet. They will be my cable of choice.

PROS: Price, choice of length, perfect protection from being bumped or broken, heavy duty construction

    CONS: none

    Great
awesome cable for the money ... don't waste your money on Monster and other overpriced crap in the music stores. This cable is sturdy, clean and looks like it can take a beating ..

    noisy cable
every time you move, it makes noise. this may be ok for a rock and roll live stage performance, or someone who sits and plays and does not move. But not good at all for any kind of recording

    PROS: good price, solid construction

    CONS: noisy.

    Solid Cable
A good thick, solid cable with right-angled ends. It's sturdy, and noise free. The right-angled ends make this pretty much a necessity for guitars with a jack input of the face of the guitar. These cables will go a long way towards keeping you from damaging your guitar by banging the protruding end of the cable on something.

    cool cords
nice cords....i rig up my amps with wireless receiver, and maybe a stomper or two velcro'd to top of amp so I can hand select. I use these to connect....they seem to be good quality...heavy duty in look and feel, and definitely reduced hum that I had with other, less-worthy cables.

I really don't move all that much when I play guitar. So maybe there is noise but I don't make enough motion. Cable works great for me. I have an Ovation guitar, so my plug is on the backside, using a standard cable, it gets twisted very easily.

PROS: - Right angle is just what I needed.

    - No noise far as I know
