    Delay Mini Pedal

Add delay to your pedal board with this Delay Mini Pedal from Monoprice!

This mini pedal produces a warm, vintage delay sound, similar to analog delays. It features an adjustable delay time from 25ms to 600ms. The echo knob allows you to control the depth of the delay effect, while the feedback knob allows you to adjust the number of times the delayed sound is repeated. The pedal features true bypass, so it won't alter your tone when not actively in use.

The casing is metal for long term durability. It is powered using a 9VDC power adapter with a negative tip/center, such as our 9V Power Supply for Guitar Pedals (PID 611690).

    Delay Time 25ms - 600ms
Input 1/4" monaural TS jack (impedance: 470k ohms)
Output 1/4" monaural TS jack (impedance: 470 ohms)
Power Requirement AC adapter. 9VDC (tip/center negative plug)
    Current Draw 40mA
    Dimensions (WDH) 1.8" x 3.7" x 2.0" (46 x 94 x 50 mm)

    Price/Performance- Well Worth It.

I like having a bit of slap-back delay as part of my base guitar sound, and this little unit does the job just fine. Simple, easy to use, and sounds good. It is worth noting though that when the pedal is engaged, the tone changes ever so slightly with a little bit of added midrange. This might be off-putting to some, but I like it.

Pros: Unit sounds pretty good. Especially when considering the price.

Cons: The "time" control functions as expected to a point. That point is the twelve o'clock position. From twelve o'clock (or 50%) to maximum there is no change in time. I don't know if they all work (or don't work) this way or I got a bad one.

Good sound for the price. The "time" control only works for 50% of it's travel. That said I will still use it. I don't know if I would recommend it to a friend however. Also note that you can't use this device with a 9V battery. There isn't enough space in it's little enclosure. If these caveats haven't scared you away then by all means have at it.

Thank you for your review and my apologies for the issues you have experienced with PID 611603. Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have received a defective product for there should be a change past 50%. Now if you’d like, I can help setup an RMA for a replacement. If you would like me to proceed with the RMA, just let me know and I can get this started right away. Sorry again for the trouble and hope this helps!

    Small but mighty

    Pros: Sounds great. Compact. Cheap.

    Cons: none

This little guy really does sound good. I fly a lot for tours, so I try to get the most portable gear I can, and this fits the bill. It has a very convincing "analog-like" sound, and it can do the self oscillating thing, plus when you move the delay time while a note is sounding, the pitch changes like it would on an analog bucket brigade delay. Cool for a special effect. It's clean, it sounds good - no complaints here! For the price it's a no-brainer. My only request would be a tap tempo control, but at this price point that's dreaming.

    Very useful echo box

Pros: Simple as could be, figure it out in ten seconds. Good design choices for the controls

Cons: Echoes are dark only, no chance to brighten

This is a good dark echo which is the go-to sound you want for space, depth and dimension. The darkness suggests receding into the distance. It would be nice if there was a way to make it brighter for some specific purposes but if you have to pick one sound, the dark one is the one to pick. I got this with the fuzz and the flanger for a specific tone in a specific song. I have all three set just so, and then I stomp them all at once because I have them mounted right next to each other. Works great this way. Also great fun for noodling at home, you can get lost for hours with those three pedals.

    Awesome Delay Pedal

Pros: Sounds like it cost twice as much.
Stands up side by side with high dollar delays like the Memory Toy
Same size as the EHX Headphone Amp

Cons: No 9 volt battery compartment.

I have a EHX Headphone amp and wanted a delay to use with it and this Mini delay pedal fits the need. There is no place to put a 9 volt battery so I made an external battery supply for this pedal and mounted the small headphone amp and the delay to a small board along with the external 9 volt battery all with Velcro and now I have a nice little headphone setup to use while practicing on my bed or couch.
The delay pedal is more than you can ask for in its size and If I need to I would buy it again. Well worth the money spent. You'll be glad you bought one.
