    HDBaseT Receiver, 100m (328ft)

Monoprice is a proud member of the HDBaseT Alliance

Add another receiver to your HDBaseT™ installation with this HDBaseT Receiver from Monoprice!

This HDBaseT Receiver is designed to convert an HDBaseT signal sent from an HDBaseT transmitter over Cat6 cable into an HDMI® signal for use with an HDTV. It allows for a full bandwidth 10.2Gbps data throughput, which means that it supports all High Speed HDMI functions, including all HDMI 3D video modes, the extended 4K cinema resolution, 32-bit Deep Color, and high-definition compressed lossless audio, such as DTS-HD Master Audio™ and Dolby TrueHD™.

The Receiver includes support for bidirectional Infrared (IR) Remote Control repeating. Additionally, it has two RJ45 LAN jacks for extending your local area network coverage. As long as the network is connected to the RJ45 jacks on the HDBaseT transmitting device or on this receiver, the network connection will be propagated throughout the HDBaseT system.

    • Extends HDMI signals up to 328 feet (100 meters) using a single Cat6 cable
    • Extends 100Base-TX network connectivity along with the HDMI video
    • Can be daisy chained up to six units deep
    • Built-in bidirectional IR repeater
    • Supports all High Speed HDMI functions, including 3D video

This HDBaseT device is fully compatible with these other HDBaseT extender products from Monoprice:

Note: Monoprice strongly recommends using 22AWG, 24AWG, or active HDMI cables with Redmere technology to achieve the best results and to ensure minimum signal loss over longer distances.

    does this work with cat5e?
    Fred P on Jul 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: For short distance, the answer is yes. Cat6 cable offers less signal loss per unit of length compared to Cat5e. For full 100 m distance, I don't think Cat5E is recommended by the manufacturer. So when you see a lot of picture coherency and sound, it's time to move up to Cat6 cable.
What is the size of this item?
    Gurjit S on Dec 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The dimensions of the Receiver Unit would be 8.2" x 5.8" x 2.3"
We have several of these that connect monitors around our building. I am always having to replace them. What causes them to stop working? Do they get too hot, do they just wear out, how can I make them last longer?

    Awesome product
I ordered this along with 10680 (it was cheaper than buying the kit).

I have Cat5E throughout the house structured wiring. I plugged this in next to my DirecTV receiver, patched the connection through to the garage (150+ feet), plugged the receiver in at the TV in the garage and voila, flawless picture. I've installed Wireless HDMI in a few rooms at almost the same cost and even though it works, there always seems to be a hiccup when the TVs in the bedrooms served haven't been use for some time. I'm going to run this for a few weeks but will probably replace the wireless devices if it continues to perform.

Will report back then!!!! For now, two thumbs up.

    PROS: Simple setup

    Works on Cat5E as advertised

    They just work

    CONS: No thus far

    Lasted a year
I purchased this receiver as part of the kit with the extender. After about a year, it stopped connecting with the extender. It could be either the extender or the receiver that had the problem. The power supplies tested fine.

Both units ran hot with the receiver somewhat hotter. For $200, I expected a product that would work for a few years. This is unacceptable for modern solid state devices.

Monoprice, what would you do for customers who purchased these units that failed so soon after the warranty?

    HDMI Range Extender
This product extends the range the HDMI distance to 328 feet using Cat. 6 Ethernet cable. The fidelity of HDMI signal is also preserved.

    Great Product, Bad Power Supply
Product works great, a year after buying it the power supply stopped providing enough power to operate the unit. verified working with another power supply. Contacted Monoprice and they stated they do not sell individual power supplies?? Hard to believe. Stuck with a $100 paperweight. Amazon has replacement power supplies but should have been able to get it from Monoprice. Something to consider.
