Sure, this mount is incredibly strong. As long as your TV matches the VESA pattern in the specs, you'll be able to use this mount. I am very impressed with it's strength and "smooth" operation. The only caution I would say is that the precise height/positioning of the TV is difficult to calculate from the tools they give you. In my application the TV is recessed in a wall cavity and the positioning was absolutely critical. If you are simply mounting it on a wall, without a frame/border, then no problem.

It is only spec'd by Monoprice for up to 70 inch TVs. If properly mounted I suppose it could support the weight. The limitation might come in how wide you can spread the brackets that mount on the back of the TV.

I put a 65 on one. Is the VESA sizes are the same a 75 would fit. Most important is to make sure your TV is under the weight limit..

Is there any way to slide the tv position side to side? I have 16" studs, but they're not centered where I want the TV to be. I'd maybe need to slide it 8" right after mounting to the studs.

BEST ANSWER: I was able to shift the TV approximately 5 inches right or left....8 inches may be a stretch. An alternative would be to make a mounting platform out of 1 X 12 pine anchored to the studs and long enough to put your TV where wou want it. Paint it the wall color and anchor the mount to the platform. The TV tucks nicely into the wall with this mount and you would not see the platorm or wall plugs anyway. Nice mounting system for the price.

In regards to your question about side to side positioning, the easy answer to your question is yes. Once the brackets are attached to the television, and the brackets are mounted onto the mount rails, it is very easy to slide the brackets/television along the rails to overcome stud positioning. This is a very assembly friendly bracket and I'm probably the most happy with this bracket vs. any bracket I've ever purchased.

Don't recall, you should be able to find a stud. I have used heavy duty wall anchors to the sheetrock. You should be able to drill a hole in the bracket for at least one stud and anchors elsewhere.

Can you mount this into a brick wall?
A shopper
on Jul 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Sure. You just need a carbide masonry bit and anchors (or Tapcon fasteners) to secure the frame to the brick. Stay out of the mortar because it is not strong enough to secure fasteners. No big deal.

I have ordered this product and now I'm not sure about the movements. Are there tools required to perform any of the movements (tilt, swivel, extend) after the mount has been installed on the wall and the after the TV installed onto the mount?
Benner K
on Feb 10, 2022
BEST ANSWER: You can move the TV away from the wall without tools. You can also turn the TV left and right without tools. In order to tilt the TV up and down, you do need to loosen a bolt or knob in the back. However, I set the tilt during installation and have never needed to adjust it afterwards. Just make sure to tighten it during installation to prevent this movement. Hope this helps.

The only tools we used to install this mount were a flat blade and phillips screw driver and a smalll adjustable wrench. Since this was mounted on a stone fireplace, we needed a rotohammer drill and carbide bit for the lag screws.

It's a good mount. I tend to firm up all the screws to prevent the tv from drifting. You will be able pull out and move around with no tools but the tilt you will want to lock in at the angle that works best for the room.

How can I confirm that this (Product # 10469) will work with the monitor that I am purchasing (an NEC 50" E505)? The manual doesn't list what monitors it is compatible with, nor do I see anywhere on the web site. Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
You would want to check if your monitor has a mounting hole (VESA) pattern that is support by this mount and if the mount can support the monitor's weight.
Both of these should be somewhere in your TV's product page or in its manual.

BEST ANSWER: To determine compatibility with a TV mount to your TV, please determine the VESA mounting pattern on the back of your TV. It is the 4 screw hole square formation on the back and it is usually listed on the TV specs or you can find out by measuring it yourself(measured in millimeters). Our TV mounts range from 50x50mm to 1000x700 and up so please check the TV mount specs for compatibility as well.

Hey there, I have this on order and will be received soon. However, I think I am now confused -- Before I ordered this mount, I was under the impression that all movements could be done without the use tools. Am I correct or is there a tool needed for any of the movements (swivel, extend or tilt)? Obviously tools needed for install, so I'm only referring to after the mount and the TV are installed.

Best mount for price!
Have bought from MP for over ten years, love their quality control even back in the early days. Definitely the best mount I have purchased for the value. Very strong and supports probably more than specs. I have bought this multiple times for myself and family and everyone is very happy. Search yourself, this is the best value and quality at the same time.

Best swivel mount I have had
This is the perfect mount for what I needed. I had the same one but for the single stud and it was fantastic but because of how my new place is I couldn?t center it. I have the power and cord outlets on either side of my center so this fit perfectly around them and is super strong and sturdy. Swivel is fantastic I use it all the time.

TV Mount Overkill!
Wow! This TV mount is a beast! Purchased this full motion mount to hang a 55" LED TV in my kids room, replacing a smaller MP mount used for a 36" TV. The old mount was supposed to be good for up to a 65" TV, but when mounted, the new, larger TV was very unstable and didn't provide any confidence that it would stay up safely. The new mount weighs about 20 lbs., almost half as much as the TV. Extreme overkill for what we need. This is a super heavy duty, fully articulated mount, built like an M1 Abrams tank! I will likely be purchasing a lighter version for my kids TV and moving this mount to the living room where we will be mounting a new 75" flat screen. I'm not knocking this mount in any way. It construction is top notch and is built to handle the heaviest of flat panel TVs. It's just overkill for what we needed, and so, will be repurposed to another location. If you need a heavy duty TV mount with adjustable positioning, this is the one for you.
