120-inch, 16:9 Matte Gray Fabric Motorized Projection Screen
Give yourself the gift of a true Home Theater system with this Motorized Projection Screen from Monoprice!
This screen is made from a high-quality four-layer fabric. The surface layer is embossed with PVC microdots, which produces a 0.8 gain across an extra wide 160 degree viewing angle. The second layer is made of PVC, followed by a fiberglass layer, and another PVC layer to complete the screen. The result is a smooth screen surface with a stretch rate of less than 1%. By comparison, traditional chemical treated fabric screens have stretch rates as high as 33%!
The screen can be mounted on the ceiling or on a wall. It is raised and lowered using a Somfy motor with an IR (infrared) remote control. Somfy is the leading manufacturer of specialty motors, which provide ultra-smooth, silent operation and are known for their durability and long life. The screen measures 120 diagonal inches and is sized for a 16:9 aspect ratio. The package includes hardware to mount the screen to a wall.

Questions and Answers
PROS: Made well, Aluminum body, nice quiet motor and adjustable drop limiter, great picture.
CONS: Drop limiter instructions are pretty much non-existent. The controls reference two adjustable pot switches which you have to search for since they're up inside the case. You basically reach an allen wrench up through the screen opening to the left side of the screen case where the motor is. There are two pot switches. You want the one toward the back and you need to turn it clockwise "facing it" to reduce the drop height. I managed to get mine perfect but again not very intuitive.
PROS: Bought the 120 in screen from Monoprice. I loved it. I am trying the grey projector screen for the first time and I liked it. When they shiipped it, the box looked damaged so Iwas hesitaing to accept but it turned out well. Gain is .8 but still it is great. Shipment delayed delivery 2 days, I had trouble rescheduling the installation but Monoprice is kind enough to refund 40$ from the shipment charges for the inconvenience
PROS: Easy to install. Great Picture. (Using Epson 8350 projector). Picture is better than my plasma and LCD tvs. Price of the Screen.
CONS: New smell. But from what I understand from everyone, that all brand new screens have a bad new smell.
PROS: Good quality motor
Excellent connection options (12v trigger line is fantastic!)
Picture gain and tone looks fantastic.
Mounting procedure is excellent. Brackets supplied are fantastic!
CONS: Screen not easily leveled if needed. My screen has waves at the bottom and I assume it's because it's not perfectly level. Extremely noticeable from an angle.
Screen does have a very potent vapor/smell at first use. Ventilation will be needed. It's worse than you think.
No supplied instructions for adjusting stop points. Screen will fully drop which is not useful for 8' walls at all. I will have to contact support for those instructions (user's manual tells you to contact installer or dealer... funny, I'M the installer!)
Power cable is NOT replaceable. This makes obtaining a custom length of power line to run to a nearby ceiling-mount electrical box impossible, thus resulting in bunched up and very messy wiring. Should have used a standard PC power cable.
