92-inch, 16:9 Matte White Fabric Motorized Projection Screen

Give yourself the gift of a true Home Theater system with this Motorized Projection Screen from Monoprice!

This screen is made from a high-quality four-layer fabric. The surface layer is embossed with PVC microdots, which produces a 1.0 gain across an extra wide 160 degree viewing angle. The second layer is made of PVC, followed by a fiberglass layer, and another PVC layer to complete the screen. The result is a smooth screen surface with a stretch rate of less than 1%. By comparison, traditional chemical treated fabric screens have stretch rates as high as 33%!

The screen can be mounted on the ceiling or on a wall. It is raised and lowered using a Somfy motor with an RF remote control. Somfy is the leading manufacturer of specialty motors, which provide ultra-smooth, silent operation and are known for their durability and long life. The screen measures 92 diagonal inches and is sized for a 16:9 aspect ratio. The package includes hardware to mount the screen to a wall.

    Features:

    • Black steel casing
    • Motorized operation using a super-quiet Somfy motor
    • Includes RF remote control for screen operation
    • 92" diagonal screen size
    • 16:9 aspect ratio
    • 160° viewing angle
    • 1.0 screen gain
    • Wall mounting hardware included

Built well great price but the smell is ridiculous!

Pros: Built well and bang for the buck - Somfy motor is outstanding.

Cons: The Smell. The chemicals coming from this projector seems lethal. I dont have any respiratory problems but you can not be in the room more than 15 min without having to go outside and get fresh air. I am hoping this is going to go away soon. What worries me is that I have had the screen for several months and just installed it last week after finishing my AV room. This is the first time the screen unrolled so hoping it will "cure" but you would think the smell would be gone by now, having had it this long. I would love to find out if the other reviewer that left 4 of the same reviews and did not have the smell issue buy it after the Vendor fixed the issue? If it does not go away I am going to have to contact Monoprice.

8 out of 10 due to the smell, otherwise 10 out of 10

    Pros: Great price,

Cons: None, I did not have the strong smell of fumes as others have mentioned.

We just finished building out a customer's attic into a bonus/TV room. The last day as we had the carpet laid, the customer had a bright idea to convert the room into a theater room.
Rectangle shaped room and A frame ceiling. One end has the entrance door and the other end is a window.
I suggested a motorized screen and Epson projector. We could not install in-wall speakers because the walls would be impossible to fish so we went with Monoprice's in-ceiling speakers (4103) and sub-woofer (8248), using speaker wires (3845).
Screen arrived and immediately I noticed there was no way for me to wall mount it over the window. The window's frame protruded to far out. So I decided to ceiling mount it. No brackets but 2 steal L brackets for a hardware store and some extra bolts, the mount turned out great.
Customer is very happy with the finish product.

    I highly recommend this screen
