    Smooth Full-Motion TV Wall Mount Bracket (Min 5.5 - Max 44 lbs, 23 - 42 inch)

    MONOPRIOCE Wall Mount Logo Locations

Add another dimension to your HDTV wall mount with this Smooth Motion Adjustable Tilting/Swiveling Wall Mount Bracket from Monoprice!

Most fully articulating wall mounts provide adjustment in three dimensions: swivel the display angle horizontally, tilt the display angle vertically, and extend the display out away from the wall. This mount adds the ability to adjust the height of the display.

Equipped with an adjustable counterbalance weight in the extension arm, this mount can be height adjusted up to 13" with nothing more than a gentle push. When the counterbalance weight is properly adjusted, the arm will stay in position, without creeping upwards or downwards.

The mount is designed to fit the 100x100, 200x100, and 200x200 VESA sizes. The extension arms allow the display to be situated anywhere from 2.2" to 22.8" away from the wall. The bracket can swivel 90° in either direction, can be tilted up to 15° up or down, and can be rotated ±3° to ensure that your display is leveled. It also includes a cable management system to help keep your installation clean and professional looking.

The bracket is designed to fit most TVs in the 23" to 42" size range, with weight between 5.5 and 44 lbs (2.5 ~ 20 kg). It comes with all the hardware needed to mount the bracket to a wooden stud or concrete/brick wall surface. Additionally, it comes with eight sets of mounting screws of various sizes to attach the bracket to your display, as well as the Allen keys needed to adjust the arm counterbalance.

    Thoroughly Impressed!
I bought this mount to go into a new home. The room I was putting it in was is a large space that includes the family room, dinning room and kitchen. Because there are a lot of windows in this room, there aren't many places to hang a TV. I decided to mount my 32" inch TV high, above a door way so that it can be easily viewed from any point in the room. (I'm putting a Monoprice motorized projection screen in my living room for more large screen entertainment)

Installation was fairly simple. I used my stud finder to find a stud to secure the mount to. The kit comes with 3 bolts to secure the mounting arm to the wall. The plate that attaches to the TV is held in place by two large round knurled nuts which are easy to remove by hand.

Since my television is an LED, it's pretty light and I was able to do the installation by myself.

The hardest part of the installation was adjusting the tension. The mounting arm comes in a bent position and you have to straighten it to access the adjustment bolt with the included Allen key. The tension is pretty high at first so it's difficult to straighten. But I found that once it was mounted, if you put one hand on the elbow of the arm and then pull down on the end of the forearm, it was much easier. Once you have it straightened, you can easly adjust the tention to allow it to move freely with the TV mounted. Just as the description says, once you adjust it correctly for the weight of your television, the arm will adjust higher or lower easily without drifting on its own after you let go.

The mount has plastic coverplate to hide the bolts that hold the mount to the wall giving it a very clean look.

When I saw the photos on the website, I was afraid that it would just be a metal arm with cheap plastic shells all over it that would pop off easily. But what I ended up getting was a very high quality item. Most of the arm is a nice glossy silver painted metal. The only plastic other than the bolt cover plates is on the forearm but it doesn't feel soft, plasticy or cheap. It is well bolted on to the arm and the top portion is finished in the same glossy silver finish as the metal parts. Over all the whole product looks and feels premium.

I would highly recommend this mount to anyone looking for a single arm articulating mount with a wide range of motion for any 32 inch or smaller television. It would probably also work with a larger television as long as the mounting holes on your television do not exceed 200mm x 200mm.

    PROS: Sturdy construction
    No sag
    Easy adjustment
    Wide range of movement
    Simple to install
    Comes pre-assembled
    Some built-in cable management
    Looks great

CONS: Initial tension setting was a little stiff

    Good mount, but...
I've bought and installed three of these mounts. The biggest problem with it is its screws. If you buy it, do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot and buy 10 x 2 inch Flat Head Phillips screws (HD part number is 807551). The supplied wood mounting screws are cheap and their heads strip under all but the most delicate screwing in. The HD screws I suggested can be screwed in with a power drill and give a better fit for the covers on the mount. They also hold the mount securely.

In addition, the included M-A screws are a bit short for my

PROS: • This is a solidly built mount, and once you figure out how to use it it's a good mount.

    • It's a good looking mount.

    CONS: • Inadequateterriblewood screws.

    • Somewhat difficult to adjust the swing arm of the mountparticularly for a light monitor.

    • Huge back plate. I suppose it must be to accommodate 200x200, but it sure covers a lot of real estate on the back of my monitor and my TV

    Good quality, flexibility and price
For those struggling with getting it to move up and down, here were the helpful instructions from the tech that got it to work

Usually one of the toughest parts of the installation is adjusting the tension on the arm. The mounting arm comes in a bent position and you have to straighten it to access the adjustment bolt with the included Allen key. The tension is pretty high at first so it's difficult to straighten. But once the display is mounted, if you put one hand on the elbow of the arm and then pull down on the end of the forearm, its much easier this way. Once you have it straightened, you can easily adjust the tension to allow it to move freely with the TV mounted. Once you adjust it correctly for the weight of your television, the arm will adjust higher or lower easily without drifting on its own after you let go.

    PROS: Truly full motion

CONS: some trouble getting it to move up and down initially

PROS: Solid construction, looks good, includes all hardware and has incredible range of motion. It has vertical travel of 7.5 inches above and below horizontal arm. Easy to mount. I have been looking for an item like this in this price range for a couple of years.

CONS: The tensioner screw is hard to access initially. Instructions say to make sure it is in a horizontal position when you adust it. I had to place it on a step and then place a foot on the horizontal arm and push down with my hand with considerable force to reach horizontal. I would estimate the tension was set at approximately 75+ pounds. I list this not because it is a con but to give you advance notice that it is difficult. If it is mounted into a stud you could adjust it later, otherwise I recommend doing before you mount.

Disappointed - had really wanted to like it.
This is the 4th TV mount I have bought from monoprice. I am happy with the other 3.

I was excited to have a mount that could hold a TV high on one side and then swivel down and over to be low on the other side. Unfortunately, the angle between the bottom of the TV and the floor changes when the TV is moved from one location to the other. The spec. list +/- 3degrees of rotation range, but to access this, one needs to loosen 4 nuts behind the TV, then level the TV and then re-tighten the nuts. This turns what would have been a great product into something that is disappointing. Alas.

It seems like maintaining level would have (should have?) been part of the mechanical design of the mount. Or if not, then there should be an easy adjustment without needing tools. the message from tech support was "From what you've described, we may not have a mount that will fit your application."

PROS: Has the normal left/right and the relatively unique up and down adjustment.

    Installation was straightforaward

CONS: Display does not stay level through the range of motion. The only option is to loosen the bolts that attach the VESA plate and re-level each time the display is moved.

    Mounting arm
If anything, the mount is overbuilt. Really heavy, metal is powdercoated and nicely finished. It is proportions are not apparent in the photos since the arm appears to be slender. When I received it, the swing arm was set for a high degree of tightness and it was very difficult to straighten it out so it can be adjusted. The wall bracket has three screw holes. Two upper once are close together and the space between the lower top hole and the bottom one is 5.5". Because of that distance, it may not work in a situation where the arm is being screwed into a block behind the drywall, if 6" blocking is used. If it is screwed into a stud, it should be fine. I will update once I install it.

PROS: Strong, adjustable in all directions. Comes with good directions, packed into its own box.

CONS: Part of plastic cable covers is a bit flimsy. Could use built in level.

ZERO REGRETS! - 2 Years and still a happy camper!
It's been two years now and I am still happy with the mount. I didn't get it for a tv but for my 27" LCD monitor. The mount give me the freedom to move the monitor where i want it without a second thought. or concern. One properly setup with tension screw the screen will stay exactly where you put it. ZERO REGRETS!

PROS: In, Out, Up, Down and Tilt!

    Pretty as well as Smooth
This is a Very Nice Piece. I Love it and Highly Recommend it. The construction is Very Robust, and it is Very Appealing to the eye, plus the adjustability is Very Nice. The only thing I Wish is that it had holes for 75x75. Plus the mounting plate covers inputs on the back of my little Samsung 24 incher that I mounted it to, so I had to do some Drilling, but it was worth it because it looks Fantastic and that whole up and down deal is Pretty Awesome.... my wife Loves the almost non-existant Wires showing, as I concealed the media server in a kitchen cabinet and used the runways in the wall bracket. If you are looking at this piece, stop looking and add it to your cart before they run out.

    PROS: Looks, Price, Quality

    CONS: No Holes for 75x75

    smooth sailing
Don't usually write reviews but this product really is what I wish all products were - good form, fit, and function - a cut above the usual mass market cruft

PROS: very solid build quality - elegant aesthetics - well thought out and easy to install

    CONS: none

PROS: Bought this for the travel trailer. Works great. Very easy installation. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how it works. Very simple. In fact going to order another one for the kitchen tv right now.

CONS: Nothing that I can think of. Had it almost a year.

If I center this on the wall at the position I want my TV, when I pull it out to extend the arm will it maintain the same center position?
    A shopper on Dec 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, in the pulled out condition you can re center it. When initially mounting though the holes you drill in the wall will not be on center with the TV. They are slightly off center
Can I mount this and have it swivel around the molding so tv can be viewed in the adjoining room? I have a tv room next to my kitchen and both rooms need viewing action. thank you.
    A shopper on Dec 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello, this item has a plus or minus 90 degree in swivel if that is enough for room to room, then this item should suit your needs. Thank you for your question!
