Questions and Answers
PROS: Price, build quality, adjustability
CONS: cable management system leaves some to be desired
Unfortunately, this bolt doesn't seem to be documented in the manual. Also, the allen wrench that ships with the mount won't fit in this bolt, you'll need to use a metric allen wrench of your own. With a update to the manual and the inclusion of an additional allen wrench this mount would be perfect, but I'm willing to give it a 9 out of 10 since it does everything else well once installed.
PROS: Sturdy and well made.
CONS: The instruction booklet could use some work, it doesn't include an allen wrench for the leveling bolt.
PROS: Very sturdy, motion in and out isn't too stiff, great range of motion to face the the TV in, all materials needed are included. Would recommend to anyone that does proper research on their TV VESA size and wall application for mounting.
CONS: Instructions are fairly lacking. Bracket is fairly heavy (you'd think since it has to handle the TV and its own weight that it'd be lighter).
PROS: - Quality materials
- Extremely versatile mount
- Comes with an excess of screws to suit various scenarios
CONS: - VESA 200x200 compatible BUT *WARNING* instructions are terrible! You *do not* need to use the "Adaptor" or "Hooks", which are not only 3 gigantic metal parts in the package, but the instructions imply that they are necessary in every scenario. I was definitely confused and wary for a good 30 minutes before verifying with tech support that YES, you attach the wall mount first then have 2 people hold the TV steady and directly attach the "AA (mount)" to the television using screws and washers (instructions dont tell you to use washers but tech support says you should). Such a pain in the ass trying to figure that all out.
- HEX head bolts used to mount to both wood studs and or concrete walls should totally be fat, flat head screwdriver compatible. Having a hex driver is rare for most folks.
- I can't emphasize this enough poorly written instructions. Please mark which steps could potentially be optional!

PROS: All Pros!
CONS: No negatives
PROS: Sturdy, Everything Fits, Adjustment Stays where it is at.
CONS: Like other reviewer - take note it does not quite center when retracted against the wall on the center of the bracket - so take that into account when hanging.
PROS: Great Price
Easy to Install
PROS: great product
CONS: very little to complain about
I didn't have a 1/4" drill bit, but after a quick run to the hardware store, I drilled the holes in the wall+stud to the proper depth. Although a bit tedious, I was able to hold the bracket myself while inserting the screws into the wall. Although it took me a while to do because I took my time, overall it was a surprisingly simple process.
Highly recommend product, and Monoprice was great. Low price, fast shipping, and excellent product.
PROS: Very solid mount. Tilt, swivel, and arm extension provides excellent flexibility for TV positioning. With a few minutes of planning, mounting on studs was fairly easy and straightforward. One person with a moderate amount of patience can easily mount the bracket and TV.
CONS: At first it was not obvious how the TV attaches to the bracket, since the mounting varies dramatically based on the TV hole positions. I figured out for my 200x200 VESA TV holes, I didn't need the large "wings", but only after several minutes of scratching my head. After I figured this out, the limited instructions started to make more sense.
In my case, when the bracket is folded and fully collapsed against the wall, the left side of my TV is around 1/4" lower than the right, so there is a small, but noticeable angle. From what I can tell, it is caused by the tilt mechanism on the bracketthere is an adjustable screw/handle on the right side only. If you tighten up the screw on the right side, the TV sags to the left. For now, I just keep the tilt screw loose which helps. I got over it after a few days, and just ignore it now, but I can understand if it bugs some people. I suppose you could replace some hardware on the tilt mechanism to fix the problem.
