Adjustable 10 lb. Capacity Speaker Wall Mount Brackets (Pair), Black

Easily mount your satellite speakers on your wall with this Speaker Wall Mounting Bracket kit from Monoprice!

These brackets are designed to mount small satellite speakers with a single-bolt, two-hole (2" - 2.75" spacing), or keyhole mounting systems. Each bracket can support a speaker weighing up to about 10 lbs. Each bracket can be tilted and swiveled, so you can point each speaker to the proper angle for the optimum audio experience.

The brackets can be mounted to wooden stud or brick/concrete/hollow-block walls and includes the hardware necessary for either type of mounting option.

Note: The included extension is intended for ceiling mounting solutions only. When used in a wall mounting situation the extension increases the leverage of the weight of the speakers on the mount, thereby decreasing the load capacity.

Anyone have any idea how to hook them up as a keyhole mount? No instructions anywhere for that.

Are these able to be installed on the speaker wall plate (instead of the wall)?
    New User U on Jun 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, the are a bit shorter than wall plate.

Excellent Price - Not as Strong as Hoped
Wow, what a price. Amazing price. Well, you kind of get what you pay for. The box is loaded with alternative hardware for varied mounting. You won't believe that you get all of that for the small price you paid. However, some very important points: 1) You will NOT be able to wall mount any size speaker while using the 4" extension piece the instructions even tell you this. For good reason, the mounts simply aren't strong enough.2) If you try to tighten the friction screws too tight they strip out. 3) All of my wall mount speakers sag due to the weight of the speakers and these are the small Energy Take 5 speakers (I used two mounts for the center speaker).

If you're looking for something rock solid, I don't suggest these. They'll work for very small speakers, I'd say under 5 lbs. The friction style Allen screws that hold the apparatus together are not very reassuring. On the other hand, the screws going into the wall are excellent. The design and concept are good, the execution just isn't flawless. If I were to contact the manufacturer I would suggest they use a harder plastic and design the friction screws such that they won't strip out. I would even prefer a bolt and nut combination so that the shaft of the bolt goes all the way through the plastic.

    Not bad, but not great.

    PROS: Excellent price
    Good appearance
    They "work" so far
    Paintable

CONS: Not as strong as hoped for
Wall mountings will sag if speakers are over 5 lbs
    Screws strip out
    Plastic is somewhat soft

Very easy to use and extremely versatile. The mounts should work with almost every speaker out there. The only reason I didn't give them a 10 is because the instructions are misprinted and recommend the wrong size drill bit for the drywall anchors.

Do NOT use a 5/16" bit to drill the hole for the anchors. Use a 1/4" bit and then hammer the anchors in. Even then I wouldn't use a drill to place the screws in the anchors. Starting the screws by hand will ensure you don't apply to much torque and twist out the anchors.

    Amazing Price Great Product
I was very skeptical while buying these brackets. 2 for 4$ is real cheap.
I recently set up by Bose cube speakers on these brackets and it worked out very well for me.
They are not metal but they are strong n will hold the speakers well.
Monoprice customer n technical support does not fail to Impress.

    PROS: Great price.
    Well built

CONS: Lil plasticky but you wont notice then behind the speakers ..

Really pleased with the flexibility of the armature and versatility of the hardware. Plenty of hardware left over after installing my Onkyo surround speakers. Very easy to assemble and install.

    great purchase
Honestly the best purchase I have made for my home theater. The mounts come with virtually every type of nut, bolt, screw, etc ever made so you'll definitely find a way to mount your speakers flush and clean. They are so easy to put up and can be moved very easily, yet they hold a lot of weight. I've used these with Onkyo and JBL speakers which are both 10-20 lbs and the mounts hold them perfectly.

Good solution for a sound bar
I'm using these a little differently than prescribed. Instead of mounting separate speakers, I used them to mount a single Sharp 3.1ch sound bar to a (false-finished) basement ceiling joist. My basement family room has a fireplace, an 80" pull-down projection screen mounted one joist back from the hearth, and these mounts holding my sound bar one joist back from the screen. These mounts let me angle the soundbar so it fires directly at our main sofa, and is still heard well from the other seating positions (and the rest of the room, for that matter).

PROS: Great assortment of hardware, very flexible with mounting positions, cheap!

    CONS: No complaints so far

    Works
I'm completely satisfied. They're flexible, pretty simple, and effective. I mounted some Energy Take Classics inside with them, and some large outdoor speakers (that weighed less than the advertised max) as well. They've all been up for months without any issues. If you were to remove and reattach speakers to the mounts several times, I could see them failing, but that's probably a pretty unusual usage for such things.

PROS: Impressively versatile and effective for how cheap it is.

CONS: Construction is a -little- on the flimsy-seeming side (though not so much that it should be a problem for most speakers)

    The Price Cant Be Beat
I ordered two sets of these brackets to mount my Polk Audio OWM3 speakers. I had shopped around for other brackets, but the prices were a lot higher than these brackets. Though the other brackets were made from steel, the MonoPrice brackets are very solid and hold my speakers with no problems. The brackets are easy to mount and they have several options for mounting. Thanks MonoPrice!
