PROS: - If you need to hang a 60 pound TV this bracket can handle it
- Allows for a large swing area to see TV at many angles
- Followed same bolt pattern of previous old-school tube TV bracket I replaced
CONS: - Would have chosen bracket in black if available
I suppose I should have read a bit more about this mount as I was totally shocked at how beefy this was. I have used other mounts, 1/4 of the size to mount 32" commercial lcd screens.
Assembly was pretty straightforward, but the instructions provided little assistance.
The tilting mechanism could be a little more friendly, but once you set your angle, you'll probably never adjust it, unless gravity takes over.
Without question, the lack of the ability to adjust the final level of the screen was noticed. I mounted the device to the wall with a level. Everything should have been level to my screen, but alas, the screen was crooked, so there is play in the bracket's hinges. I widened the mounting holes on the back to give me the angle I needed to have a visually level screen.
The item I received was perfect.
Great price, easy to install and 2 frineds have already asked where I got the extending wall bracket.
I gave them the site and they will be ordering
PROS: Strong and solid
CONS: A bit heavy, but I guess that's what makes it solid.
PROS: Very sturdy, compacts nicely, excellent throw. Easy to assemble and mount with the VESA adapter to hang an iMac.
PROS: This bad boy is built like a tank. Almost tempted to hang on it myself, but that is over the posted weight limit, but I almost think it wouldn't bat an eyelash. My paltry 24 inch monitor causes it no strain whatsoever.
