Don't leave your flat panel TV on a table or stand where it can be knocked over and damaged, or even worse injure a child or pet. Instead, mount it securely and safely to the wall using this Adjustable Tilting Wall Mount Bracket from Monoprice!
This mount bracket has the ability to tilt up to 15 degrees downward, making it ideal for overhead displays in a commercial setting or for keeping the TV out of reach of little hands at home. This bracket has an extra wide wall plate (45"), which spans three studs, allowing an extra mounting point for added security.
This bracket is designed to mount an LCD, LED, or Plasma display with a VESA mounting pattern between 100x100 and 1050x450, which includes most 37" to 70" TVs*. It can be mounted to any type wall (brick, concrete, wood stud, etc.) and can safely hold up to 165 lbs (including the weight of the mount itself). Mounting hardware is included.
* Note that the display screen size is only an approximation. Your TV is compatible with this mount as long as your display has a VESA mounting pattern and weight that fit within the size and weight limits listed above.

I had a 24" phillips screw driver so tightening the lock screws was no problem. Without the screw driver it would have been a bit of a challenge. It does help to have them "snugged" up a bit so that it is easier to get them locked.
All-in-all, this is a quality product from a great supplier and was everything that I could have asked for.
PROS: Very well made. Sturdy and decent instructions.
CONS: None to speak of.....
even though this bracket is wide enough to span across 3 studs, i could only mount it to two of them. There were no bolt holes in the center of the bracket to line up with the middle stud. When i moved the bracket over so that one of the holes lined up with the center stud, the other holes would not line up with the other two studs. It isn't much of an issue since the 4 bolts are more than enough to hold it, but having two extra bolts in another stud would have made me feel better.
also, upon hanging the TV on the bracket, you have to slide a little catch upwards, and then tighten a screw...due to the size of the television and how close it is to the wall, it was difficult to reach in there to slide it up and hold it there while tightening the screw. still, you only have to do it once, so not that big of a deal.
I highly recommend this mount to anyone with a large TV.
PROS: Easy to hang, cost effective, holds my TV on the wall.
CONS: no built in level (who cares)
no mounting hole in the center of the bracket
PROS: I have this this holding a 80 sharp with no problems looks great on wall. Saved me at least $150 works like a charm
CONS: bolt sizes are in metric
PROS: Very sturdy.
Lots of hardware included.
My particular application involved mounting a 135 lb 65" Panasonic Plasma HDTV. The wallplate spanned 3 studs, and was about 2 inches off center. However, being off center seemed to have no detrimental effect on how securely the TV mounted to the wall. I purchased 6 new lag bolts (3/8" X 3.75") to secure the wallplate to the wall because I had read that the heads of the included lag bolts sometimes shear off when torquing the bolts. I also purchased wider washers to use with the lag bolts. The M5 screws that were included with the mount were either too long (40mm) or too short (25mm) to use with my HDTV so I had to purchase 35mm M5 screws. I had no problems spending $5 on new bolts and screws since this mount was such a bargain!
The beast of a TV went up with no problems, the mounting brackets easily hooked onto the wallplate. The mount has not moved a bit and seems rock solid. If you are looking into wall mounting a large flat panel TV, you cannot go wrong with the mount!
*Very robust construction of both wall plate and mounting brackets
*Large variety of mounting hardware included
*Instructions were clear enough for me, but I've had experience wall mounting TVs before
CONS: *Did not have the correct length screws for my particular television
*Did not used the included lag bolts because of previous reports of them breaking
CONS: No fine adjustment for level
PROS: durable, easy to install
