    Great, but connectivity issues
These are a great set of headphones, and I recommend them to anyone in the market for an affordable, wireless sound solution. Casual listeners will love these, although more discerning listeners will wish they sounded just a bit better. I used these while playing Dark Souls II and Batman Arkham City, and they hold up well in-game, reproducing sound admirably, though not as well as a dedicated pair of wired headhones I use. Voices in videos that consist mostly of people talking (reviews, commentaries) sound perfect, and music (death metal, speed metal, rock, italo disco, retro synth) sounded fine, but with a slight harshness and hiss in the mids and highs, especially sharp guitar sounds, symbols, and Rob Halford, but its nothing deal-breaking. Bass was fine, balanced and not overpowering, but not particulary emphasized. These do very well with phones, and pair instantly, with no issue. The only problem, was that when connected with my PC via Toshiba bluetooth drivers, the audio they produced would cut out once every second while streaming, which was horrible. I deleted my toshiba drivers and then ran Intel drivers, which fixed the cutting, but made it so that every time a video ends or I start listening to a different program (ie, watching something on netflix and then changing to a game) the headphones quit working, and would have to be restarted to regain the connection, which is annoying and needs to be fixed, although that could be another driver issue. All of my listening on this set was done over bluetooth%

PROS: Sound quality is fine, almost on par with the famous 8320's but with a much wider soundstage

Incredibly light and comfortable, especially the suction-cup looking headband cushioning which is excellent

Very stylish, the shine on these is super attractive

    Bluetooth range is very fair

Earpads are very comfortable, and actually enclose my entire ear on both sides, I have small-average size ears

The faux-leather bag they came with is kind of "sticky-feeling," but it has a second, inner pocket (!) that quickly makes up for the odd texture

    Battery life is great

CONS: While I previously stated the sound quality was "fine," it could be improved, highs and mids have a bit of harshness and noise can be heard even when listening to FLAC and lossless WMA content off of a PC

Disconnects from my laptop very frequently and unexpectedly, and i have to turn the headphones on and off again every time

    Great Alternative to Beats Headphones
The sound is very nice for the price. Beats has a better bass and crisper sound, but Monoprice's Bluetooth headsets are a great alternative. Another great feature is the Bluetooth connect ability to devices. These headphones were for my wife and she loves how easy these headphones connects to her laptop and phone.

When wearing these headphones, they are very comfortable. I do not feel any pressure on my ears or the top of my head. Overall I was extremely impressed on how nice these headphones were. I am a avid Apple ear bud user, but I think I may buy another pair of these headphones for listening to music around the house.

PROS: Comfort, Bluetooth connect ability, functionality, look and feel, Sound quality

    CONS: Bass

    Great Cans
I had just purchased some V-Moda's but came across these headphones in an add and I had always wanted bluetooth headphones. The reviews for other Bluetooth headphones were never very good but these were so I thought I would give them a try. They work great and are very comfortable even though the ears pieces are too small to go over my ears. They are kind of on and over but comfortable. They will get warm after a while. I like to listen to music in the dark but the blinking blue light drives me crazy especially if I am watching something in the dark, it catches my peripheral vision. I'll put a piece of tape over the light. My uncle and son like the sound of these over the V-Moda's, that is saying a lot since they cost $300. I personally prefer the V-Moda's. If I didn't have the V-Moda's, I would love these. I use them while exercising on my Total Gym so I don't have to worry about a wire getting crushed. And while going to sleep. When I'm sleepy enough I just click them off and my iPhone stops. The battery is not replaceable so when it dies so do your headphones. They won't even work wired. I haven't even recharged the battery yet and they haven't died. I've had them almost 2 weeks.

    PROS: Bluetooth volume is great!

    Bluetooth sounds better than wired.

    Long battery life

CONS: Will not work wired when battery dies.

    Blue blinking light.

    Nice headphones
The Bluetooth works just fine with my phone and tablet. Unfortunately, my desktop PC didn't have Bluetooth so I had to get the adapter from Monoprice ($13) which worked right away. Just don't use the CD ROM software installation - Windows 7 will detect and install drivers and the update from Broadcom makes it perfect.
Just a caution for Canadians: you have to pay $35 for duty/taxes and the shipping/handling is somewhat steep.
However, I'm impressed with the sound and that's what matters.

    PROS: Great sound quality.
    Modern, sleek looks.

CONS: Needs to loose some weight to become a supermodel. How about carbon-fibre?

    Great Sound, Poor Build Quality
I have had these for almost a year and the cheap plastic has hairline fractures everywhere. Every time I put them on my head I'm scared its going to break in half. Sometimes my hair gets caught in the hairline fractures and when I take off the headphones it pulls my hair out. I wish they would have lasted longer because they sound great.

    PROS: Great Sound

    Good Battery Life

    CONS: Poor Build Quality

    Response from Monoprice
    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your review and my apologies for the build quality issues experienced with PID 10585. If I may ask, can you send me pictures of the fractures? I will be submitting a complaint regarding this for further review by our product team. Also, if within the one year warranty for these headphones, I can assist you in setting up an RMA for a replacement. Obtaining the replacement headphones would be of no additional cost to you. If you would like to proceed, please provide the order number and I will get that going right away. Thank you and I hope this helps!

I got these to replace another awesome set of headphones (Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over-the-Ear Pro Headphone 8323) because i needed the wireless capability.

The wireless function is great, bluetooth makes it easy for many devices to connect easily.

I like the corded ones ear piece better because it goes all the way around my ears and does not let much sound escape. However the wireless ones are far to useful for me to not use them because of this!

Overall very good purchase and did some research and found these being sold for $200 hah

    PROS: Good sound quality

    Extreme distance

Volume and multifunction buttons very useful

CONS: Ear buds not large enough for my liking (lots of sound escapes)

    Not for the true Audiophile...
I reluctantly purchased these as an RMA replacement for the 10246 Premium Bluetooth HiFi Over-the-Ear headphones which were far superior in every way to these headphone, but unfortunately the 10246 headphones were discontinued. These headphones are probably fine for the average adult user or younger teenage children, but if you like quality sounding audio at higher volume levels with decent on-board headphone controls then these aren't a good choice in my opinion. These headphones cost more and offer less sound quality and features than the 10246 headphones they replaced. Please Monoprice...bring back the 10246 model if possible which hands down blow these headphones away.

PROS: Single battery charge lasts a long time.

Works well for phone conversations via Microsoft Lync.

    Sleek visual appearance.

    Pairs easily with laptop.

CONS: Average sound quality...especially at higher volume levels.

Headset volume control switch has very limited range - must use laptop volume controls instead.

On/Off switch is very stiff and sometimes hard to move.

Ears get hot & itchy with extended all day use.

    Almost Perfect
This is the first time I've bought something other than a cable from Monoprice. I would have to say, I'm very impressed. The quality of the build is very sturdy and high end looking. The head phones are pretty stylish and can fold into a nice compact faux-leather pouch (included).

Sound quality is great. They are not studio monitors for sure (especially over bluetooth) but they produce a great sound with a lot of bass. The only issue I'm currently having with the audio is slight fluctuations in volume over bluetooth. The issue does not exist if I use the 3.5 mm cable. I've tried to remove and add the bluetooth headset to my phone multiple times and the problem persists. You really don't notice unless you are listening for it.

Another issue are the size of the ear piece. They are rather small. While stylish, they position themselves as a half on, half off the ear. While not an issue with the audio, it may become uncomfortable after several hours of usage. I did use them comfortably for about 3-4 hours though.

Overall, this is a great piece of hardware for an even more amazing price. The sound is great, the form factor is almost perfect and the battery life is huge (3 days of on/off usage and still no recharging needed). Aside from the slight issues with volume over bluetooth, this is a great contender for the head phone market.

PROS: Comfortable. Long Battery Life. Easy to connect via Bluetooth. Controls easy to use.

CONS: Ear pieces are smaller and don't fully enclose your ears. Volume fluctuates. Blue LED ring on right earpiece blinks while bluetooth is active.

    Decent sound poor build quality
I purchased these headphones and was overall pleased with the sound quality. They fit on my head nicely and were very comfortable due to the soft ear pads and overall light weight.

My immediate complaint upon taking them out of the box was the amount of noise they made. There was significant creaking in the headband of plastic rubbing against plastic. As you open it to stretch it to fit it on your head, there is even more creaking. All of the creaking and plastic rubbing had me worried from the moment I picked them up.

Upon putting them on and firing them up, they paired quickly and easily over Bluetooth. Also there is a long audio cable for listening in wired mode. This cable worked great as well. Make sure you unplug the audio cable when not in use, if you don't it will continue to drain the battery.

Unfortunately as I'm writing this review, these headphones have broken. The constant pressure of the plastic on plastic finally exploded (literally) as I was opening the headphones to put them on, one side of the headband shattered leaving the earpiece to dangle listlessly by its internal wiring. I would say that if they've improved the build quality this may be a good set to own. I really enjoyed them for as long as they lasted (about 6 months)

    PROS: Good sound

    Clear bass

    light weight

    Seals out sound

    Long battery life

    CONS: Very plastic

    Poor build quality

    Ridiculous blinking light

    Good...while they lasted
I liked these headphones when I first got them. They delivered on everything I required, and I was able to listen to music and play on my PlayStation using them. After 6 months, however, the left earpiece stopped working, and when extending the right earpiece to fit to my head, the headphones shut off. Not durable whatsoever, and I did not use them when exercising, but they still broke, even after great care. They are quality headphones, but seem way too breakable. Not super comfortable, but not uncomfortable either, unless wearing for an extended period of time. They look great, have good battery, and deliver, but I'm sore that they did not last. I am hoping for a replacement/refund/exchange.

    PROS: Wireless

Good quality for music/connected to music devices

Delivers on everything you would expect of normal headphones

    Has a mic

    Connects easily via Bluetooth

    Slick, good looking

    Good battery

    CONS: NOT durable

Mic is poor quality when gaming

Mic picks up all noise, including background noise

Needs to have a charge, even when plugged in

Surround sound? What codecs do theses support? I'm sure the 1/8" plug is 2 channel with a microphone (TSSS). I'm not aware of any surround codecs sent over bluetooth, but that might be me not knowing. Can you elaborate? There seem to be plenty of drivers and actual surround sound headphones that are reasonably priced and sound good are hard to find. Thanks -
    Lawrence S on Nov 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These are "virtual" surround. The 13mm drivers utilize proprietary phase and delay parameters to give a sense of immersion.
Charged earphones for normal time however now the light flashes red blue, doesn't stay on blue. Tried charging again with same result. Any idea what to do?

BEST ANSWER: Sounds like its in pairing mode, you could try pairing it with a different device or reboot the device you are attempting to pair it too. Friendly FYI Every time I get out of range with mine I have to shut the headset off and turn it back on before it will recognize the phone again.
    Are these noise canceling?
    A shopper on Nov 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These are not noise canceling.
Can these be adjusted to fit the smaller head of a child? My sister is petite and my present Avantree headphones could not be adjusted quite small enough. I want to get her a pair that will fit well.
