    Great, but connectivity issues
These are a great set of headphones, and I recommend them to anyone in the market for an affordable, wireless sound solution. Casual listeners will love these, although more discerning listeners will wish they sounded just a bit better. I used these while playing Dark Souls II and Batman Arkham City, and they hold up well in-game, reproducing sound admirably, though not as well as a dedicated pair of wired headhones I use. Voices in videos that consist mostly of people talking (reviews, commentaries) sound perfect, and music (death metal, speed metal, rock, italo disco, retro synth) sounded fine, but with a slight harshness and hiss in the mids and highs, especially sharp guitar sounds, symbols, and Rob Halford, but its nothing deal-breaking. Bass was fine, balanced and not overpowering, but not particulary emphasized. These do very well with phones, and pair instantly, with no issue. The only problem, was that when connected with my PC via Toshiba bluetooth drivers, the audio they produced would cut out once every second while streaming, which was horrible. I deleted my toshiba drivers and then ran Intel drivers, which fixed the cutting, but made it so that every time a video ends or I start listening to a different program (ie, watching something on netflix and then changing to a game) the headphones quit working, and would have to be restarted to regain the connection, which is annoying and needs to be fixed, although that could be another driver issue. All of my listening on this set was done over bluetooth%

PROS: Sound quality is fine, almost on par with the famous 8320's but with a much wider soundstage

Incredibly light and comfortable, especially the suction-cup looking headband cushioning which is excellent

Very stylish, the shine on these is super attractive

    Bluetooth range is very fair

Earpads are very comfortable, and actually enclose my entire ear on both sides, I have small-average size ears

The faux-leather bag they came with is kind of "sticky-feeling," but it has a second, inner pocket (!) that quickly makes up for the odd texture

    Battery life is great

CONS: While I previously stated the sound quality was "fine," it could be improved, highs and mids have a bit of harshness and noise can be heard even when listening to FLAC and lossless WMA content off of a PC

Disconnects from my laptop very frequently and unexpectedly, and i have to turn the headphones on and off again every time

I have beats wireless, which are great but not comfortable on long trips (b/c they're on ear and no top pads( -i've been waiting for reviews before trying these out but I have to fly to Europe this month and figured I'd give them a shot.)

First impression is good. Very comfortable and better noise reduction than my beats wireless (pads fit over your ears on these and top pads make it nice if you are resting your head on the plane) First try with cell phone/blue tooth is solid. -beats comparable sound quality and ease of use.

I"m really happy with the purchase. I'll wait a month of usage however before ebaying my beats. lol

PROS: comfortable, good physical and sound quality (almost as good as beats)

CONS: I'd give a 10 for form factory, sound quality and price but I've only had them a day and still need to test battery life.

No real cons (yet) we'll see how the finish holds up (might scratch over time) and if they can handle traveling, usage, charge, recharge, etc.

I don't see a way to move thru tracks, that could be a con but not a big deal for me.

    Premium is the Right Word
I you aren't a slave to having to show off a luxury brand name while out in public then these are the headphones for you. As good or better sound than Beats, and the design is also just as strong and good looking.

The smoked mirror finish and shape is very slick. Smaller, light, great fit and strong. The headband seems to be reinforced with a strip of stainless. The folding mechanism uses a metal hinge. I really feel like Monoprice was going after the high-end fashion-headphones with this model... and hit their mark dead on.

The sound... I kind of forgot to mention the sound. Crystal clear and loud. Not much leakage at all. I can control the track skip and volume using same rocker switch. A single large button and easy to interpret led to get it into pairing mode. And a small on/off switch which helps me ensure that the unit is off and not consuming battery. Have not run the battery down yet, probably 10+ hours of listening so far over the course of a week.

I recommend this unit highly. Definitely one of their best products.

    PROS: SLICK design
Light and well constructed (strong headband, comfortable to wear, easy controls)
Looks very expensive, folds up nicely]
    Paired easily

    CONS: Nothing really so far.
Fits my head great, if you had a very big head and/or ears the ear pads may not fit completely over and cover your ears.

    Great Alternative to Beats Headphones
The sound is very nice for the price. Beats has a better bass and crisper sound, but Monoprice's Bluetooth headsets are a great alternative. Another great feature is the Bluetooth connect ability to devices. These headphones were for my wife and she loves how easy these headphones connects to her laptop and phone.

When wearing these headphones, they are very comfortable. I do not feel any pressure on my ears or the top of my head. Overall I was extremely impressed on how nice these headphones were. I am a avid Apple ear bud user, but I think I may buy another pair of these headphones for listening to music around the house.

PROS: Comfort, Bluetooth connect ability, functionality, look and feel, Sound quality

    CONS: Bass

    Really good for the price
Really exceptional for the price. Once again Monoprice delivers a quality product for less than you'd find at one of the big box stores. The sound is rich and full and doesn't leave you wanting more. I'm able to take phone calls through the headphones, which I couldn't find in the description when I purchased them but I'm grateful for.

The one downside is the HUGE MONOPRICE logo on top which is unfortunate. They are cool looking headphones and Monoprice even came up with a reduced logo of just a "M" on the side earpiece, which Monoprice, if you're listening, should be your new approach on everything you sell, but alas they stamped a huge MONOPRICE on top which looks kinda cheesy and lame. Ugh... why. Anyway overall great sound for a lot less money which I appreciate and trumps aesthetics (I guess).

PROS: Sound quality - 9 out of 10

ease of use - 10 out of 10

    product build - 8 out of 10

    design - 8 out of 10

    value - 10 out of 10

CONS: huge Monoprice logo along the top of the headphones. The side "M" logo is actually cool, but the huge MONOPRICE on top is kind of embarrassing.

    "WOW" 10585 Bluetooth Headphones
I have a moderate income, so when I make a purchase I research all info I can find before making the purchase. I have never owned any corded, over the ear headphones that I paid more that $40 for. My only other bluetooth headphones are the motorola HDS-10. The sound quality is no comparison. I use two different media players on my samsung galaxy s4, mediamonkey and power amp. power amp will present the heavy bass and boom effect I read about. Mediamonkey gives me more of the balanced sound that I am looking for. I primarily listen to classic rock and metal. There is no boom effect or overpowering bass with mediamonkey. I also read in one of the reviews that someone was having problems with fluctuating volume. I found that with my files, any of my music that I used VBR when compressing also experienced the same problem. My music that I used CBR when compressing had no problems at all, so it may be a problem with the compression and not this pair of headphones. I can't praise this set enough. they are worth every cent spent for them. Great quality sound with the freedom of bluetooth.

    PROS: Great Sound. Great Price

    CONS: None

    Are these noise canceling?
    A shopper on Nov 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These are not noise canceling.
Surround sound? What codecs do theses support? I'm sure the 1/8" plug is 2 channel with a microphone (TSSS). I'm not aware of any surround codecs sent over bluetooth, but that might be me not knowing. Can you elaborate? There seem to be plenty of drivers and actual surround sound headphones that are reasonably priced and sound good are hard to find. Thanks -
    Lawrence S on Nov 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These are "virtual" surround. The 13mm drivers utilize proprietary phase and delay parameters to give a sense of immersion.
