    Premium Bluetooth® Hi-Fi Over-the-Ear Headphones - White

So you want a pair of high fidelity headphones, with the convenience of wireless Bluetooth® connectivity, but don't feel like dropping three bills on them? Fortunately you don't have to spend a lot of money to get high quality. A case in point is this pair of Premium Bluetooth Hi-Fi Over-the-Ear Headphones from Monoprice!

These headphones use a single 50mm woofer and three 13mm tweeters in each earpiece to deliver superb sound quality across the entire musical spectrum. They feature a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20KHz and a 120dB sensitivity, so you will hear every note with clarity and as much volume as you can handle.

The Bluetooth A2DP and AVRCP profiles are supported for music, allowing for wireless transmission of the audio signal as well as remote operation of the source device using the controls on the headset. The headphones have a built-in microphone and support the Bluetooth HFP and HSP profiles, so you can use them to answer and place calls from your smartphone. The Bluetooth module has a reception range of about 30-60 feet in clear air.

As amazing and convenient as Bluetooth connectivity is, you still have to have a phone or music player with you or within Bluetooth range. However, with these Monoprice Headphones, you don't even need a phone or music player. Just plug a micro SD card into the card slot in the right earpiece and listen to your favorite music directly off the card. The headphones support micro SD cards up to 32GB capacity and can play mp3 and wma files. When connected to a PC or Mac® through the USB interface you can see the micro SD card like any other drive on your system, allowing you to copy or delete files without the need for a separate card reader.

The headphones have a built-in Lithum-polymer battery with capacity for up to 20 hours of playback/talk time and a whopping 325 hours of standby time. The battery takes about 3 hours for a full charge and is charged using the included micro USB cable. Included in the package is also a 3.5mm AUX cable to allow the headphones to be used in wired mode.

Note: The Box and manual for this item state that there are two additional cables included for a total of four cables. This is a misprint and is not the case. The only cables included are pictured, and mentioned above. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Note that the manual incorrectly states that this supports microSD cards up to 64GB. The actual limit is 32GB. Additionally, the manual states that the microSD card should be formatted with exFAT. In fact, it should be formatted to FAT32. We apologize for this error and will get it corrected as soon as possible.

Great Headphones except the blue flashing light

Pros: Great sound, comfortable, and battery life. Price!!

Cons: the flashing ring of blue light around the controls and the headband feels a little flimsy

The sound quality compares with an entry to mid-level expensive brand (bose, beats, and etc.) I was extremely happy with them until I decided to use them in a dark room. Every second the ring around the controls flash blue. The light is bright enough to light up a small space making it impossible for me to enjoy a movie in the dark. I questioned the quality of the headset because the headband feels cheap, however, I have owned them for over a year and they show no sign of wear.

    Left earpiece

    Pros: Good volume
    Good battery life

Cons: Poor quality of plastic and wiring
    Bad customer support

The earphones worked for a while, and had good battery life and decent sound. But all of a sudden, the left earpiece started malfunctioning. When the left earpiece is extended more than one or two clicks, the Bluetooth connection drops out completely. I have resorted to listening with the right earpiece fully extended and the left earpiece contracted, which is annoying. Some internal wiring must be loose, but there is no way to tell. I tried to contact customer support but received no response.

I contacted Support about this product and they have issued a replacement and RMA. I still think that the plastic around the joints needs to be reinforced and that perhaps the wiring needs to be made more robust, but I can't complain about the service.

    Good but

Pros: Strong bass easily controlled with equalizer. Fit comfortably over the ear even with glasses (for me) for use up to 4 hrs at a time. Work well for 30-40 ft from source. Quality of sound for me was good but I have limited range. All functions work except the micro card.

Cons: Bluetooth was difficult to set up and control. With computer, needed to reboot application (iTunes) and/or the computer before Bluetooth pairs up after leaving the application (breaking the Bluetooth connection) and then returning. Could not get micro card to play.

This was my first Bluetooth device and gave me trouble setting up and using the phones. The start, quit, internal vs external device pairing was difficult for me. The pulse sequences frequently required multiple tries to activate the correct mode. When they were working, the sound was good to great with more bass available than in any other phones I've used. The micro card mode will not workperhaps because the exFAT format in the instructions should read FAT32?
