Hi-Fi Premium Noise Isolating Earphones - Black & Red

Get great sound on the go with these Hi-Fi Premium Noise Isolating Earphones from Monoprice!

These earphones excel at reproducing both the lows and highs, so they are well-suited for every type of music, from rock to dubstep to classical. These 'phones accurately follow drops and can maintain the low sustains, while still producing bright mids and highs.

These earphones feature a strain-relief clip on each ear piece to help prevent damage to the cord. Three different sized ear buds ensure that these 'phones will always have the right fit.

Note: For best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

Great Sound and CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP COST!!

Pros: Great sound, comfortable fit. Block out external noise. Low cost factor!!

    Cons: None.

I buy these for my onstage sound system AVIOM monitor and for my iPod. I really can't believe how great they sound, regardless of the price!! I'm always having to replace my earbuds but these seem to be lasting quite a while. Sure, you can buy much more expensive earbuds but I don't think anyone will be disappointed in these!

    Pros: Good sound, comfortable

    Cons: Poorly made

These were great, until wire broke through coating and ear piece fell off.

Don't buy these to replace "Enhanced Bass" earbuds

    Pros: Good midrange sound quality

    Look sexy

    Cons: Poor bass

I got these to replace my enhanced bass earbuds, which deteriorated over the course of a year. Whatever, they were $7, and they were very good while they lasted. I bought these hoping they might have a longer shelf life. The mid range sound is very good, but something was wrong with my favorite music. I compared the single earbud still working from my old pair, and the difference is very dramatic, particularly at low bass (I guess that's why they call the others enhanced bass). These just don't produce any kind of rumble at all. I recommend you buy the others if that's something you like.

These work very well for the money. They are not Sennheisers or anything, but they are sure priced right. Sound just dandy.

Great ear buds at a very affordable price.

Pros: Great sound with a balance of bass and treble. Cheap, affordable price.

Cons: Weak Rubber Housing that the wire inside can cut through if a knot is formed.

I've bought a pair of earbuds at roughly $10 from a retail store with a string in a cup quality sound and bleeding from the ears due to the uncomfortable plastic ear fitting.

These earbuds on the other hand are far from that experience. The sound is great and well balanced, bass doesn't sound muddy (Although, if it does sound muddy try pulling the earbuds a little bit away from your ear), and the treble doesn't sound like you're listening through a tin can. The variation of the ear cavity fittings are nice as well. Great cheap earbuds all in all.

Just a couple complaints, first being the weakness on the rubber housing. If the wiring knots on itself for a while, the wire itself can cut through the rubber housing exposing the wire. So try your best not to haphazardly stuff them in your pocket as that can damage them.

The second complaint is something the should be somewhat expected from pretty much any earbud, so this isn't really a complaint about this product specifically but rather to bring awareness of a problem that comes with most earbuds. Because most earbuds are IN your ear rather than around your ear you will be more prone to static shock in dry environments. So if you shock yourself with any electronics attached to yourself, maybe consider grounding yourself with a ring or some other metal jewelry.
