I have managed to prolong the life of each new piece by adding a layer of 3M tape if warping isn't an issue. It is cheaper, easier to add, and the first layer adheres to the tape better at a lower bed temperature (around 80 degrees)
PROS: This material works well after you waste a few pieces figuring out how to get the tape on the bed without bubbles. It helps if you cut the piece long enough.
CONS: Space inside the printer is limited, so you have to waste a few pieces figuring out how to get it applied without bubbles. When it comes to using ABS, I'm still experimenting with the warping problems. The tape likely helps, but doesn't solve most warping problems.
It works as advertised, but not my favorite solution, as it is easily damaged when removing prints and I seem to be replacing it about every other print. And large ABS pieces still warp, need more than this to solve that problem.
Works well, but needs a better way to start peeling off the spool
It’s good tape, and works better on my 3D printers than BuildTak for me, with just a bit of Elmers Glue, but I’m giving it 4 stars because it didn’t have a good way to get it started peeling off the spool.
