PROS: Great idea, consolidated design, highly interchangeable.
CONS: It doesn't work with any of Monoprice's jacks - i would know, I have almost all of them. You can plug 1 or 2 into it, but you have to leave every third space open. I have to make it work, I've already terminated more than 100 jacks and now need to put them into the rack. So, to make this work I am going sand a tenth of an inch off of each side (plastic casing) and then squeeze them in there.
PROS: Low cost
Does it's job
Easy keystone installation
PROS: affordable, looks great
CONS: None of the keystones Monoprice sells fit into this product side-by-side, all 24. Do not buy this product if you intend to use all 24 ports and use a normal keystone. Wasted a huge amount of time and $$$ installing a ton of these only to find out that all 24 keystones won't fit.
PROS: high density
CONS: Some brands will not work.
Some styles will not work if they are too wide
PROS: Metal Faceplate, very clean, high density is a huge plus
CONS: The plastic clips that the keystones snap into are very tight (great for making sure your jacks don't accidentally fall out, but VERY difficult to change out)
PROS: 1U - half the space of 1014
keystones mount flush!
CONS: Toolless keystones such as PID 1044 (Cat6 RJ45 toolless keystone) are a bit too wide. As a result you won't be able to use all 24 slots with such keystones.
Thank you for your feedback and apologies for the experience with PID 7260. Please keep in mind that the following is noted in the description for PID 1044:
Note that the width of the RJ45 keystones is such that two cannot be used side-by-side in the same wall-plate.
Unfortunately, PID 1044 will not fit side-by-side in our keystone panels either. If you want, I can process a return for PID 1044. We recommend using our inline coupler type keystones instead such as PID 7303 ( http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=105&cp_id=10519&cs_id=1051903&p_id=7303&seq=1&format=2&rep=gab) with this panel. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. Thank you!
