Does anyone know of a crimper tool for these style keystones?
    A shopper on Feb 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There's no crimper needed for this, just a punchdown tool. A little plastic one came included with each jack I purchased. If you're going to be doing a lot of them, get a decent punchdown tool. It makes life much easier, and trims the ends of the wire as you use it. (I've attached the Monoprice one.)

    Excellent jacks
These jacks were very easy to punch down, and it was great to find them in all colors, to match my internal cabling and make sight identifying them a breeze.

    A Good Keystone
Impressive keystones. Easy to use, easy to punch, and includes a ziptie for securing the cable to the keystone itself. Works with most wall plates I've used.

PROS: Cost effective! Easy to punch. Cable binding with ziptie on the keystone.

    CONS: None.

While the jack is certainly functional, please be aware that it will not fit into many keystone mounts. It is simply too wide to fit.

First time user of punch down jacks
This was my first attempt at using punch down jacks versus the more expensive types that do not require a tool. My home wiring project required about 30 connectors - I had one (1) that did not check out- and had to be redone. I think the punch down connectors take just a little more time... but the cost difference of the connectors (money saved), more than made up for my time installing my home LAN project.

PROS: I ordered a mix of colors (including Yellow) and mix of quantities - the order was process accurately and very timely.

The connectors come individually wrapped with the strain relieve "zip tie", wire covers in a clear, easy to open (perferrated) bag.

CONS: I broke a couple of the 'zip ties' used to hold the CAT6 cable on the jacks (strain relief), I would like to see ties that are just a little stronger.

    Simple quick installation
Used these to install a new Cat6 home network. Great price advantage over the competition. Quality is impressive. Installation was smooth. No complaints with any connection. Use these with Keystone Wall Plates for a perfect fit.

PROS: Price. Quality. Covers and Zip ties included.

    CONS: None.

    Easy to Use
They do the job. What more can you ask? They're easy to install and fit into the Monoprice 4-hole keystone plates. Very satisfied.

    Very Nice Keystones
Love these keystones. I would never consider using toolless after learning how to punch these down. It's just too darn easy to do. Purchased approximately 90 Cat6 keystones for a whole house install and was not disappointed. Have not found any that failed to punch down yet.

Be careful to ensure that wires are secured well and pulled taut before trying to punch down. About 1 in 100 wire punches (I did over 700... 90x8 wires) would rather just kink the wire instead of punching it down, causing the insulation to remain uncut. I think this probably applies to all Type 110 punch down keystones and blocks, not just these or Monoprice in general.

Despite other reviews, I was able to install 6 in a one-gang keystone wall plate (PID 6733). I had difficulty installing 6 in a two-gang keystone wall plate with decora straps (PID 6833) due to height 4 Cat6 and 2 F Type coax worked well, or leaving the dust covers off I could squeeze them all in.

PROS: Cheap, easy, quick, includes zip tie

    CONS: Not free :)

Works first time with color coded help
First time running network cable. I didn't mess it up. Instructions are good enough to get me through it.
I didn't know if I should strip wires first. I did just in case so it took a little longer.
It took 4-5 minutes per keystone. Great for just a few connections.

PROS: No specialty tools to buy. Great for a few connections. Any color scheme you want.

CONS: not for high volume wiring

    Works flawlessly
Got this keystone jack from monoprice. As usual the price could not be beaten and the product worked just fine. I used a bunch of these to wire my home network and have not experienced any problems (it's been about 4 months since installation).

PROS: Great price for a cat 6 jack. Works just as well as the other more expensive options.

    CONS: none really.

    keystone jacks
Would recommend these keystone jacks for anyone that is networking their home or business.

PROS: Had these installed into our new clinic and at this time haven't had any difficulty or trouble with any of them. No one can beat the price and quality of what Monoprice can offer.

    CONS: None at this time.
