Has potential, but a bit too wobbly.
Not really as good as I had anticipated. Had to replace with the less expensive black plastic molded version 2 of those for he price of one of these, and well worth it two of those on hand in case one gives out. This one was just too loose a fit.

PROS: Built well. Can open to adjust the contacts if you need to.

CONS: Not really designed all that well inside. Holds the plugs a bit loosely. Found it necessary to pull off the ends (they pull off/push on maybe not so secure??) several times and use fine forceps to re-bend them so the male plugs could be held more firmly and make better contact. But eventually I just went for the molded black plastic one it costs less and works perfectly. I'd say go with that one.

    Perfect
Used this to daisy chain a couple of audio cables together so my father could use headphones to listen to the TV. Works great.

    PROS: Affordable
    Works perfectly
    Feels solid and long lasting

    CONS: None

    Works Well Enough
It solves a very simple problem, but it does it well. I actually have a Radio Shack version of this. Admittedly, Radio Shack's device feels sturdier than this due to its heftiness however, Monoprice's offering still feels solid, even with its lighter weight. Also, some people might want to know that Radio Shack's offering has a tighter fit to it, whereas Monoprice's device isn't as tight. I would say that Monoprice has the device with the better fit, as you don't have to jam your headphone jacks in to make a connection. Although, Radio Shack's device may loosen up over time with more use.

Where Monoprice beats Radio Shack, and this is obvious for frequent shoppers here at Monoprice, is price. Monoprice's offering is probably three times less than Radio Shack's, which makes me a happy shopper.

    PROS: Sturdy feel.

    CONS: None.

    Shoddy Manufacturing
The connections aren't very good, and seem to connect and disconnect whenever jostled or touched.

PROS: They are nice looking, and seem to be durable.

    CONS: Bad internals

    stereo jack
Used this to extend my earphones and when I plugged them in they worked for a few seconds until you move a little the signal drops out. You have to shake it until it starts working. When you unplug it the ends can pop off.

    PROS: none

CONS: loose fitting end popped off.

    Nearly Worthless
It works sometimes but must be spun just right so the audio can be heard. When it is in the wrong position, it sounds very similar to when you haven't plugged your headphones all the way in. You hear something but it isn't right at all. This is my second audio adapter from Monoprice that has been very disappointing. Thankfully it was only $0.73...

This adapter is already starting to become non-functional. I have only been using it for about a month. Seriously Monoprice, up the quality! I'm willing to pay a little more to have quality hardware than just throw away your products after a month of use.

    PROS: None

CONS: Cheap, poorly made, only works sometimes and is getting worse everyday.
