Questions and Answers
Technology, 25ft. I predict it would work with other active cables but have only used this one.
I also used a 10 ft high speed HDMI cable (not active) on the other side to connect to a TV.
CONS: The design is a bit ugly, I don't understand why the surround needs to be "inset". It serves no purpose. It just looks ugly compared to the normally flush wall plates. -1 Star
Even though my wall plate is white, I was provided with silver finishing screws. This is not how they are pictures. I have other screws I can use, but providing silver ones is both annoying and silly. - 2 Stars
PROS: Great price! Quick shipment and it was a breeze to install. The parts were top notch quality.
PROS: Good product.
CONS: Not so durable. Device came apart with just a small amount of pressure.
PROS: Is what it says it is! Good Price
CONS: Screws are a little cheap and some funky thread count that do not screw in well to some low-voltage cut in rings, HDMI Jack pushes through wall plate. Cure I use my own screws and put some silicone on the back side of the plate to hold the jack in place. Shouldn't have to do that if they take care of these problems its a 10
I'd suggest if your NOT moving your devices often (like a blu-Ray or satellite) to just run the HDMI right into your device and avoid this extra connection.. if you just want a spare port on ur wall for laptops or cameras this product works well.
PROS: clean look
CONS: cheap feel.. HDMI port can come loose handled rough during install.
PROS: Looks professional, works great.
CONS: Flexible piece inside the wall should be a little longer
Plate is a little fragile
Also, the screws that came with the kit to mount the trim plate are not traditional pan head color matched screws. They were silver machine screws! Looks kinda industrial, which does not go with the rest of most homes or offices!
PROS: it transfers a HDMI signal...that's about it.
CONS: Flimsy, breakable, odd screws
PROS: looks good when in the wall
CONS: when you plug in the cord the built in recevier pushes through and you have to take it out and reset it back in the cutout. There should be some kind of clip to keep it in the hole.
