An inexpensive card that works very well with Ubuntu Linux
This card was shipped fast, works well with Ubuntu 8.04 Linux, and was very inexpensive. That is why I gave it 10 out of 10. It doesn't say it supports Linux, but it works with Ubuntu without having to install any linux kernel modules. I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Product at an Excellent Price - but it is just the price that is cheap - the card is very well constructed, and my Windows XP Computer instantly recognized the USB 2.0 controller card, and all the available ports !!! The transfer speeds seem to be SUPER when compared to the USB 1.1 ports that originally came with my Computer, and only lag behind a little when compared to my Firewire ports.

    Works as advertised
I run a fedora linux machine and this kind of hardware can sometimes be a bit of pain. I turned the machine off, plugged it in, turned it on, it worked. I had a few external hard disks up and running in no time. No hassle, no drivers required, it literally just worked when I plugged it in.
