    Like everything at Monoprice this is a high quality cable and it works very well. I have three of them run in the wall from a nearby closet to my TV, having the equipment out of the room makes the whole room look better. I recommend using Monoprices port savers to protect the ports on your equipment and TV from damage from the weight of this (and any other) high quality cable (flaw in HDMI design, not this product). The one thing that Monoprice could do to improve these would be to add multiple colors to make them easy to identify when there is more than one.

    I purchased 2 of these cables to use with my DVR and DVD player. I have found them to be an excellent value. This company sells quality merchandise and I recommend them highly.

    Used this cable with two more ten foot cables to hook up my computer to a tv. Works great. No loss of single at all.

    Way Heavy Cable
    Excellent, high-quality cable for the best use of a permanent installation. The heavy cable, when plugged into a TV or computer, will put a lot of downward weight on the HDMI port. I could see a port breaking, especially if someone stumbles over the cable.

    PROS: Excellent signal throughput

    Best for a permanent installation

    CONS: Heavy, and 1/2" in diameter

    Weight could strain an HDMI port on a computer or TV

    Afraid for the port...
    Ups just rang the doorbell.... got to go and get my latest shipment from MONOPRICE!

    PROS: As another review said ...This cable is unreal - much thicker, stronger than he would have expected (agreed) . The exceptional price is a staple for Monoprice and the quality exceeds expectations every time. He was fairly confident this cable could be used as a tow-line on his Toyota Tundra (mine would be a Dodge van) - it's that strong, well built. Thanks again for yet another well made and exceptionally priced product that shipped ahead of schedule. we will Continue to shop with confidence at Monoprice.

    CONS: The cable is so stiff I fear damage to the port.

    not quite stiff enough to use for and Indian rope trick, but close.

    used couplers to short more flexible cables as a precaution

    Excellent quality cable, no issues at all. I'm using for a projector to receiver connection...it is a little stiff and needs 4" clearance behind if you are wall mounting the projector. Not an issue really, but something to be aware of.

    Great quality
    Was run within the wall from TV to remote location for PS3. Picture quality is excellent for both games and movies. Cannot comment on sound as it is run separately from PS3 to stereo.
    Cable performs as advertised. Nothing negative to say.

    Great bargain!
    Works perfectly. Jacket is very sturdy feeling, makes cable much stiffer than standard, but looks brawny and should last a lifetime.
