6 in RCA Female to 2x RCA Male Digital Coaxial Splitter Adapter

This Digital Coax Cable is made from premium quality RG-6/U with double copper braid shielding to prevent signal degradation caused by EMI and RFI interference. This cable is ideal for conducting S/PDIF digital audio signals and other high-bandwidth content, but it can also be used for composite video and other line level RCA signals.

This splitter features a single RCA female jack on one end and a pair of RCA male plugs on the other end. The purpose of this is adapter to split a single RCA output to send to two RCA inputs.

Note that this should be used only as a splitter. Combining audio signals could result in damage to your audio equipment. The proper way to combine audio signals is through an audio mixer.

    Features:

    • Gold plated RCA male connectors
    • Rubber-covered, molded connector housings
    • 97% pure oxygen-free copper conductor
    • Double shielded with copper braiding
    • 22 pF per foot capacitance
    • 75 ohm impedance

    quality has one drawback
Great adaptor, and a great price... but man... it is THICK!

I put 3 together and made a diving board out of them.

Ok, I kid, but you must know that if you do use this adaptor, it will pretty much stand 6" out of the RCA connector with no flex. Not even gravity affects this cable. Fine by me... I'd rather be shielded and stiff than have a RadShack/OEM low end limp noodle cable picking up distortion.

Now excuse me... I am about to convert one of these Y adaptors into a slingshot.

Great set of cables. Now you need to get the cables with the opposite connector on them!

As everyone has said, this Y adapter is well put together and is perfect to feed your coax from your receiver's sub-out to a L and R input of your sub that doesn't have an LFE input (just bought the Polk PSW10 for my basement). I'm extremely happy with the cable, and spent only $3.

Unless your an audiophile snob (spending more money is as important as having great sound), maybe you won't be happy with this. If I had a pair of Wilson Audio Alexandria X-2 Series 2 (600 lb. speakers) that go for $140K for both, I would have a hard time explaining to my snob friends that $3 cable hanging off the back of my speakers. Any other scenario has you buying this product.

    Happy listening!

    Nice splitter for LFE application!
High quality splitter/adapter for RCA connections. I'm using these to split my main receiver's LFE signal to go to my powered sub as well as a second stereo receiver that I use to drive bass shakers. Then I use a second one to split the LFE channel into the left and right channels of the receiver's aux input so I can use both channels to drive the bass shakers. They work well and there is no noticeable decrease in sound over a straight RCA cable. The screwed on caps come loose a little easier than I'd like. That's the only problem, and is really only an issue when installing them.

    PROS: Thick cable, strong connectors.

CONS: Screw on caps could be more snug

Bought this to connect the preamp out from the receiver to my Klipsch subwoofer since it has a L/R input instead of the normal single LFE input.

PROS: Tight Connect, well built, price

CONS: Very Stiffed so forget about having your subwoofer close to the wall.

    Great MonoPrice Quality As Usual!!
I ordered this subwoofer y splitter for my Yamaha Down firing powered subwoofer. I already had a Y splitter in place before this one. But that was a cheapy one from the 99 cents store. To it's behalf it did a great job especially for the price. But as soon as I put this one into place, I'm getting even tighter and cleaner bass than before, and this cable only cost 3 bucks more. I love the fact that this cable is thick and sturdy, my previous cable was thin and flimsy in comparison. Monoprice always has great quality constructed cables for really really good price. And they always deliver fast. I always get my deliveries in 2-3 days to NYC from CA with just regular shipping, no need for more expensive shipping methods. I currently have a Monster THX certified subwoofer interconnect in place and may replace it with a monoprice cable. I've had it for like 9 years and it still works great, so I'm still on the wall about it. I just like everything to be of the same quality and manufacturer. I also have some 12 gauge speaker wires in place from monoprice which are just as great.

PROS: Great sturdy construction, and thick wire gauge.

    CONS: None as Usual.

    Excellent Quality
I bought this for use with my Polk PSW-10 as it has left-right line inputs but no LFE input. Consensus seems to be that you get a little bit more volume if you use a splitter and use both line inputs, so that's why I purchased the cable. I don't actually notice any difference, but I didn't spend any time comparing, and anyway, the cable does what it's supposed to do: split a single output into two inputs.

PROS: Very well built. Works perfectly with my Polk subwoofer PSW-10. Cable looks like it will last forever.

CONS: It's pretty stiff, so it doesn't bend easily. This is only a problem if you're trying to use it with a speaker close to a wall.

    High Quality, But..
Hello .. I used this to split on RCA for a powered subwoofer connection. I loved this until i tried to slide the woofer back to the wall. The cable was VERY stiff which made it difficult to bend.

This very high quality cable made nice tight connections and looks great, I just wish the cable was a little more pliable.
