25ft RCA Plug/Plug M/M cable - Black
Despite the introduction of more advanced audio and video signal cables, such as HDMI® and Toslink, most audio and a large number of video connections still use the common RCA connector.
This is a single-channel cable with a male RCA plugs with molded connector housings and strain relief boots on each end. The cable is is ideal for short, low-frequency connections, such as standard audio signals. For higher-frequency signals, such as for RF or composite video, over longer lengths we recommend the use of one of our premium RG-6 or RG-59 based cables.

PROS: Very flexible.
CONS: No shielding. Very susceptible to subwoofer hum.
PROS: Carries a signal. Useful for cheap projects with no quality requirements.
CONS: Terrible noise performance. This cable should never be used at this length.
PROS: Very low cost and very long.
CONS: Introduced a loud "Hum" into my subwoofers when the receiver was turned off. Lack of shielding picks up interference along entire length of cord.
My apologies for the trouble you had with the rca cable you ordered. The 655 isn't as heavily shielded as our actual subwoofer cable which you will probably want to consider as you mentioned another user recommended. They are shielded against RF and EMI frequencies. If you like I can set up an RMA for a return on the 655 cable, I would just need an order number to get the process started. Again my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
PROS: Inexpensive, effective, and it works.
CONS: A little thin. It still has plenty of shielding though.
PROS: Works great. I used it to connect my powered sub woofer to my receiver and it does the job. It works just as well as the overpriced "sub cables" that retail stores try to sell you.
CONS: A little thin. But for $2 you can hardly complain.
