Use these cheap patch cables can break your equipment!
These are cheaply made patch cables and it shows. The connector is shorter (almost 25% shorter) than quality cables. This matters because when inserted into the jack or device these patch cables are very difficult to remove. Another issue is the tab on the connector. When depressed it suppose to help release the connector from your device or jack. The flaps on these cables are very weak and they don't work well.
So, what you may end up doing (like me) is struggle to remove this by wiggling and pulling and this can damage the contacts on your jack that's connected to. I damaged my expensive tester while working these patch cables.
If you're professional I suggest you don't use these at all. Not worth damaging your equipment over a cheaply made cable.
PROS: Cheap in price (but there's a "price" to pay")
Thank you for your review on PID 2127. Truly sorry to hear about the experience you have faced while using this cable. If preferred, we also offer FLEXboot cables which have a thinner cable boot that makes it easier to disconnect cables from equipment. Just in case, please see PID 11261 for a blue FLEXboot cable:
If truly unsatisfied with this cable, I can see if we are able to setup an RMA for a return. We offer a 30 day return period with no restocking fee. I would just need the order number to look into that further. My apologies for any inconvenience and I hope this helps!
