    better than expected
I've grown to expect high-quality products from your company. This purchase only supports this point of view.
I've compared it with another adapter that I purchased for twice the price from a well recognized laptop manufacturer. That one that one did not work nearly as well.
I purchased another one to run another external monitor because this one works so well

PROS: this USB adapter was recognized by my new Windows 7 laptop immediately and works flawlessly.

    CONS: none to date

Imagine Six Monitors on one Notebook!
I'm not kidding. I've got six monitors at work, attached to a notebook and a Monoprice 4-port USB hub (that's the notbook's own monitor, a DVI-cabled monitor, and four of these USB Graphic Adaptors, or "UGA"s.) I've gotten spoiled having that much "desktop" space, to where when I "undock," a single 1920x1080 monitor feels like working through a key-hole.

I was skeptical at first, and just got one to begin with. But these are no gimmick performance is surprisingly good. I've played some video on the UGA screens, though it's not *quite* as snappy as direct video link (and video-intensive applications like full-screen video games will likely not perform well.) But my use case is not quite that intensive. I may have several applications open (email, a few browser windows, a development environment, and so on) and each application or task is given its own screen. Looking at the monitors, you can't tell if you're looking at a UGA or traditional cabled video's output. You can move windows across all your screens as if it's one big surface. And things like rotating orientation, and mirroring other screens is supported. Two of my monitors are portrait orientation, for full-page viewing. That's nice.

One thing to be said: this needs USB 2 ports or better. For giggles I tried an old USB 1.1 hub, and ... it ... was ... quite ... slow. It worked, but not very well. Thing is, these little devices are their own video card, and the driver installed on your computer sends a compressed description of what's changed on your screen, which the card(s) remember and show on their monitor. So these cards can keep up with normal applications (word processing, spreadsheets, email, etc) over USB 2.0 just fine.

Intallation (on a Wintel box) was completely painless: connect in the monitor to one end of the UGA, then connect the UGA to the computer via USB Windows detects the device, installs the driver, and in a few minutes, you've got a second, third, (or sixth!) monitor.

The devices run a little warm, so I've got mine rubber-banded to some aluminum office framing behind my desk to help dissipate the heat I don't know if that's necessary, but I figure with four of them, keeping them all cool helps.

In short, these are great. Notebooks don't expand well (you can't add an additional video card easily) but even with a desktop workstation, why crack open the cover when you can do this by just plugging some USB cables? They're also very portable, so traveling with them is no problem. Sweet.

    PROS: Mindlessly simple. Surprisingly effective.

CONS: Some video cards don't play nice with this. Probably not suitable for high-intensity gaming.

    Great product
Very happy with the purchase. Delivered as promised. Will do business with them again.

PROS: Much easier to use to add multiple monitors than trying to add new video cards. Worked exactly as advertised.

CONS: Very good for what I needed them for (general office work). Would probably not work as well where high quality (graphics, etc) was needed. But for an inexpensive means to add a couple of computers, they were great!

    Perfect for the price

    Very happy.
Ordering and shipping was convenient and fast. Installation was simple and quick. I maintain several facilities that depend on multiple screens and have found this has already saved me over $3,400.00 and delivered comparable quality service.

PROS: For what is advertised and the price I thought it a great buy. I had a failure of a $1700.00 board and program that operates 3 screens. Two of these replaced it simply and quickly. I purchased extra for when the other computer that runs the same program develops a problem.

    CONS: None

    Works well
I wanted a second monitor at work and knew the IT folks would not let me open up the box to install a better graphic card. This was a great solution. I am running a HP 24" off of the adaptor/USB and it's a ok. The box is a Dell Optiplex 790. I'm not running any kind of video/CAD/graphics, just routine office and web stuff and it's fine.

PROS: Great price, handles hi res graphics fine.

    VGA Display Adapter
    Great Product. I love it.

PROS: Installed the software an plugged it into a USB port and a monitor and it worked immediately. Great product! I very well may be purchasing more of these.

CONS: If you let the main piece hang free where the weight of the adapter pulls on both sides, it has a greater tendency of coming apart at the adapter
