This is a perfectly adequate case. Actually looks pretty good, too, in spite of the branding on the right side. (Though a lot of the more expensive cases do that, too, so it's hardly unique.
The all-around coverage is nice, but it means that my Amazon-branded lightning cable with its fat plug can't be used with the case on the phone. Not a problem at all with the actual Apple cable, though.
Lip protects front side of phone.
CONS: Not compatible with certain third-party lightning cables.
this case only provides a minimal level of protection. I don't feel secure in its ability to handle a drop from any height, anymore than if the phone did not have a case. It has a somewhat more secure grip, and the raised edges will help protect the glass which is my main concern.
Good case, but the Monoprice branding is very ugly and the top lock button does not click down. It does not feel good to use at all. For $2.50, though, it's still worth it if you're really on a budget.
PROS: VERY cheap. Nice soft material.
CONS: Ugly branding on the side and power button at the top is not good.
Overall looks good (thin and all over cover), but am afraid it won't be soft enough to absorb shocks.
PROS: Overall good cover, thin enough while protecting all around (including screen because of extra bump)
CONS: It's more rigid than expected from TPU. I had covers from Monoprice for iPod Touch and Galaxy S3 that was soft enough to make sure shocks were absorbed in case of drop, not sure that this rigid cover would help much...
I don't like having a case on my iPhone, but the back of the phone got a small crack and chipped a bit and I didn't want to get a cut on the glass. This case is perfect for me because it's fairly thin and unobtrusive and is close to not having a case at all. There might be thinner cases but there sure aren't any for anything near this price.
