Can the backpack accommodate a tripod?

BEST ANSWER: it would need to be secured to the outside of the bag or it would need to pop up through the opening in the top but that is not a great solution if you want to use that opening to quickly access the camera.

Not very durable, have had it less than a month and some seams are already pulling, the main zipper is also giving me problems. It's also not very rigged, doesn't hold it's shape well causing items to shift. I haven't put any large lenses in it either, just a pro-size camera with standard lens, a 50mm, 1 Speedlite and some cables. Wish the inside mesh pocket had a zipper so things don't slide out when I open it. I'm using a safety pin to keep things from getting lost. I'm going to get a different bag and use this as a diaper bag, I'll be able to get to the wipes and diapers without having to dig through the snacks and change of clothes.

PROS: Stylish, lightweight and easy access for the camera only. Comfortable.

CONS: Not very durable. It's also not very rigged, doesn't hold it's shape well causing items to shift. Not impressed with pocket design.

    Bag It!
Great bag, lots of places to put your photo gear. This is a good sized bag and it will hold a lot of equipment. My wife and I are giving it to our daughter-in-law for Christmas, so she will have to do the final review.

PROS: Pockets, places for gear and much more

CONS: I didn't notice any, but all I did is take it out of the plastic bag to look at.

Great backpack, but one strap failed
I absolutely loved this backpack. It had a great amount of storage, plus storage in all the right places. I've generally found everything I've purchased from Monoprice to be of excellent quality and up until about a month ago, this was no exception. Then literally one week past the warranty, I noticed one of the backpack straps had the stitch failing to where I'm hesitant to use the backpack anymore in the event it finally gives way and my camera suffers damage.

I would consider purchasing another one if I knew the stitching wouldn't fail on the strap.

    PROS: * lightweight
    * great storage system
    * storage in all the right places
    * storage for a variety of items

CONS: * Stitching failed one month past the one-year warranty.

    Really good bag!
Great bag for an even better price. Fits my 17" MacBook Pro (!), and I didn't expect it to.

Millions of little pockets and compartments. Many access points for the main storage compartment (front, side, top)

PROS: Great flexibility and customization options

    Fantastic quality for the price

    Fits 17" MacBook Pro

    CONS: Just that logo...

    Best backpack yet
Backpack is well made and has several interior adjustable pockets for storing lens, camera body and

other camera equipment. My next trip is to Portal,AZ for a Roadscholar birding venture, and this pack will handle both the airline trips and the daily hauling of camera and binoculars in the birding van.

PROS: Lightweight backpack, good for combining laptop with camera gear. I am going to Africa with a 13" Asus laptop and a Canon 1Dx camera. This backpack will be an ideal carry on and also be great for riding on

photo jeeps on safari. Shoulder and waist straps are adequate but less bulky than a usual pack, which

makes this pack very handy for in and out of the car and motel while traveling.

CONS: Slight, you might want to put a small cushion in bottom of laptop pocket..

    Multi-Functional and Solid
Overall, I've had it for a bit and absolutely love it! I was able to pull out two of the removable velcro dividers to fit a larger mic case (fittingly the Monoprice model microphone that works with DSLRs) in on one of the sides. Overall in it, I have a Nikon D5100 (with a 50mm lens on it), a 18-55mm lens, a 55-300mm lens, the Monoprice Action Camera with accessories, a Monoprice 25' mobile 3.5mm jack cable and I have the corner spots still open to stuff things into it. Then, when you pull unzip the front section back, you can put things like SD cards, extra lens caps or odds and ends you might need in it which is really helpful. Between the extra on the go straps with the over the shoulder and around the side straps, it will be really helpful for taking shots in the mountains, outdoors and on a hike. One other plus is that on one of the sides, there are large velcro staps in which I was able to easily attach my tripod without worrying it might have to fall off.

Overall, this is a really awesome backpack that is a lot cheaper than other models out there and has so many more options and abilities than most camera bags on the market. I would definitely recommend this for someone who has a decent amount of gear and needs a good solid bag for on the go and travelling shots, especially for the price!

PROS: There are so many pockets, options for spaces in the main area and useful areas for my camera gear!

Extra spacing for the laptop behind the main camera area.

Comfort of the padding of the backpack itself.

Extra straps with clips provide maximum security so that the backpack doesn't fall or slide off of my back.

CONS: The extra velcro bits that go over the zippers on the front part of the backpack are a tad bit annoying when trying to unzip to get to the section underneath but I understand that it can be helpful for security and protection of that area. Basically, it's nitpicking to find something that could be a con.

this is a great bag. I was skeptical based off the price, but when I put all my camera/camcorder/computer equipment in it I still had room. Only wish it came with a couple more dividers but I really like this. Almost wish I needed another.

PROS: great quality, very large, price

CONS: figuring out all the pockets, could stand to have a couple more dividers

    Nice Bag
Got for $27 on sale, cannot beat that price for this quality bag.

PROS: Nice size, place for laptop. Quick access to camera and some lenses through top and side panel.

    Quality construction.

CONS: The partitions are not ideal for top loading a camera. But able to work around.

Pretty much nails it for a go-bag for your SLR, multiple lenses and accessories

    superior value
This is a bag that would probably sell for around $100 at a camera shop. There are plently of pockets and compartments for all of your accessories. It is comfortable to wear, even when loaded up. I packed about 20 pounds of equipment (including a laptop), and still carried it comfortably. The interior material is not as high quality as some high end bags, but it definitely does the job. Overall, a great bag for the price. You'd have to spend at least triple this amount to get something better.

PROS: good quality and design. seems durable (we'll see). amazing value

    CONS: none yet
