This slim optical wheel mouse provides functionality, accuracy, and durability into a compact design that is perfect for the laptop equipped traveler. Its compact design easily fits into laptop bags or a specialized mouse pocket. It is switchable between 800 and 1600 dpi resolution with the push of a button. The top uses a smooth-touch surface, which provides a velvet smooth feel for long-term comfort.
The mouse uses an industry standard USB interface, which works with all versions of Windows®, Mac® OS X®, and Linux. It will work out of the box without need for special drivers. It is symmetrical and therefore ideal for left- or right-handed users.

PROS: Cheap, durable does what it needs to.
CONS: Still unsure what the battery holes (not a standard size) are for. may be cool to get some weights or something in there

CONS: the connector was not a good fit to my laptop. I had to apply force to get the connector to mate properly.

CONS: Cable was too short for my setup and required an extension cable.
PROS: It does what a mouse should comfortable, reacts well, well built, and inexpesnive.
I took mine apart (disassembly tip: It's held together by a single screw under the QA sticker) and couldn't find any obvious dirt or debris interfering with the wheel, so I guess it's just a write off. At the price I could buy 2 or 3 and take the best one and still be ahead of the game.
PROS: Five bucks. Feels good in the hand.
CONS: Dodgy scroll wheel.
