Screen Protector (3-Pack) w/ Cleaning Cloth for iPhone® 5/5s/5c - Transparent Finish
Protect your iPhone® 5's screen from scratches and fingermarks with a Monoprice protective screen film. This screen protector is sized to perfectly fit your iPhone 5 and comes with a High Transparency finish, which allows the full spectrum of colors to shine through in all their original glory.
While the film will adhere to your iPhone's screen, it will not leave any resins or residue when removed. The packaging includes a lint-free cleaning cloth, to ensure that the screen is clean before applying the film. Each pack comes with three screen films, so you can replace screen films as they become scratched and worn out from daily use.

How to apply the Screen Protective Film to your phone:
- Please turn the device off. Clean the surface of the touch screen with the cloth provided in a dust-free environment. Please do not use cleaning agents.
Start by folding down the backing layer. Avoid touching the back of the film, which may leave your fingerprints on it, peel off about an inch. Make sure the adhesive side is facing down.
Note: Removing the backing all at once may cause static that could attract unwanted dust.
Apply the film with adhesive side toward the screen. Align the screen protector with the screen edge and place it in position by applying light pressure to the film at the point of contact (front side).
Work your way across the screen, slowly pulling the backing layer off.
Be sure not to leave any bubbles on the screen surface as you go. If you have any air bubbles when finished, see below.
If you notice bubbles as you go, pull back and retry. If it's caused by dirt, attempt to lightly flick it off or use the sticky side of a piece of tape, (clothes lint roller tape is best).
Use the installation card provided to smooth out any bubbles not caused by dirt. Apply light pressure evenly across the surface until the film is completely adhered. If no dirt is present, very small air bubbles may dissipate in a few days.
PROS: Great product for next to nothing.
CONS: I really can't think of one.
Speaking of which, if you've read other reviewers talking about problems "with the little tabs leaving residue," you are not supposed to peel off the tabs. Each individual protector actually comes in three pieces - the actual screen protector, and two other films covering the front and back of it to prevent it from getting dusty before you've applied it to your phone. The films that the tabs are glued to are supposed to be separated from the actual protector. You're supposed to bend and peel the back film first (labled with a 1) THE ENTIRE FILM, not just the tab. Then once you've applied the protector it to the phone, you peel off the top film (numbered 2) again, not just the paper tab, but the entire film that it is attached to.
Overall, I am very happy with this, especially with the price. If/when I need additional screen protectors, I will absolutely be buying these again.
PROS: Inexpensive! Quality is just as good (or better) as others you pay five times as much for (or more). Protector is perfectly clear, and when applied correctly, you can't even tell it's on.
CONS: Difficult if not impossible to avoid bubbles when removing second film (see below), but these can be smoothed out.
PROS: Inexpensive, durable, attractive, long-lasting.
CONS: Can be tricky to apply without bubbles. WATCH THE VIDEO FIRST.
I wish monoprice made the back ones like Griffin does (even those are hard to find, though).
PROS: Price, simplicity
PROS: Very good for the price, easy to use. Very clear, no glare. Highly recommended.
PROS: Great protection
CONS: Can be tricky getting all the bubbles out.
http://youtu.be/PMPqDwVZzzM - PRO TIP: Apply Screen Protector Hinge Method
You will get bubbling when applying screen protectors no matter how much you pay. This hinge method is a quick and sure fire way to get the least amount of bubbles. To add to the video I find it best to remove the protective layer ( the side that sticks to your screen ) while facing down so the particulates floating in the air don't land on the sticky screen protector surface before applying the protector. Those small floaties in the air are the biggest cause of bubbles. I also like to quickly blow or wipe the screen once and immediately drop the hinged screen protector down to prevent bubbles even further. Hope this helps
PROS: Just as good as any other screen protector, price point.
PROS: easy to apply
CONS: sticker tab adhesive difficult to remove
Make sure you de-lint-ify the face of your phone with some packing tape before application to get it bubble-free every time!
PROS: No noticeable change in screen from use. Very secure, especially around the edges. Stays on nicely with a case on the phone.
