Multi-Function Crimping Tool
This Multi-Function Crimping Tool that can strip various cable sizes, from 22AWG 0.6mm to 10AWG 2.6mm. For cutting bolts: 4-40, 5-40, 6-32, 8-32, 10-32, 10-24.
ALSO! None of the instructional videos or the techs tell you the most helpful tip of all USE THE METAL LOOP! You stick the wire in the hole, then close the handles, then use the METAL LOOP to keep the handles closed while you hold the upper metal portion and yank off the sleeve. Presto! Exposed wires! Had to sacrifice 50 ft of wire to figure that out. :(
Still, once you get the hang of it this thing is awesome. If I can do it anyone can!

it works as intended

-long padded handles for good leverage while crimping
PROS: Great quality.
PROS: Solid tool that worked perfectly
CONS: None that I know of but I used this for a single installation of home theatre
Much better all the way around than any local stores.
PROS: Great item.
Very good item.
Unlike many bargain-priced combination wire stripper/crimping tools, the jaws come together firmly and evenly. The markings are (laser?) etched clearly, so no painted-on text to rub off. The spring-loaded handles are a very nice touch, and the rubbery grip feels comfortable and natural to hold.
I'm assuming from its price that the steel probably isn't as hard as that used in more expensive products, but as long as you don't heavily abuse it this should serve you very well. Sears wants $30 and up for tools of similar function. Even with the shipping cost, this tool is an excellent buy.
