I need a 2 ft. cord for my electric heater that's rated 120 VAC, 12.5 Amps, 1500 watts. What do you recommend?
    A shopper on Feb 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: A 2 ft. 16 AWG cord is rated for 13 amps and should probably be adequate, but when in use will probably feel warn to touch. I personally would use a 14 AWG cord which would be rated at 15 amps. The cost difference between a 16 AWG cord and a 14 AWG is too insignificant to be of concern.
Is this rated for outdoor use?

I need this for a 15amp microwave, will it work?
    A shopper on Apr 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Will it work yes...will it work properly and not cause the cord to burn up and start a fire...most likely, but only because of its dshor5h length. Go with a 14awg which is rated rare for higher amperage.

    Perfect as always.
I needed just a short extension cord for my microwave to reach the outlet since it sits up too high, this was perfect so I don't have a coil of cable behind the hutch. Quality is excellent!

PROS: Perfect length cable I needed.

    CONS: None.

    Looks like qualtiy products
So far I've only used 1 of the 5 I purchased, but it works fine and seems to be of high quality. Nice and cheap, although if you're buying 5 or more, shipping starts to add up and you might find a better deal elsewhere where you can find free shipping.

not sure how they can get them to my door for this price.
    October 18, 2010
I have purchased these in the past so I know they are under 2ft, but hey they are good cords and for the price you can't beat them. So if you need a good extension cord that is about 2ft long for a buck and a half this is the one.

    PROS: Price!

CONS: Short, 22 1/2 to 24 inches tip to tip

    2 ft Extension cords
I used the plugs coming out of my light controller boxes and they performed flawlessly, what else could you possibly ask of them?

    PROS: Awesome product, performed flawlessly,

CONS: Too much packaging! Had to open a bag of ten, each was then in another bag, wrapped by a twist tie and then had to cut off a zip tie, not a big deal, but when you are doing 96 of them.....
