The problem with most stand cases for the iPad® is that they operate only in landscape mode, which is fine for movies. But there are times when you want to work in portrait mode, which is where the 360° Swivel Stand and Cover comes into play!
This stand cover is designed to fit all three versions of the 9.7-inch iPad, including the New iPad (aka iPad 3). The cover has three grooves in which the edge of the iPad can rest, allow for three different viewing angles for landscape mode and another three angles for portrait mode. The leatherette frame has cutouts to allow access to the controls and connections. One side of the leatherette frame tucks under the iPad and is secured in place with hook and loop material.
The cover/stand is constructed of black leatherette with a soft gray felt material on the inside to keep your iPad free from scratches, scuffs, and scrapes. The cover swivels on a central point on the back and is attached to the main leatherette frame with a snap button, allowing the cover to be removed from the frame.
