When closed, this stylus measures 3 1/8" long. A 1" long nylon lanyard on the cap can be attached to a keyring or other location to ensure your stylus is always on hand. The cap fits securely on the stylus, requiring positive pressure to get it to release, so the stylus won't be coming loose from the cap. When extended for use, the stylus measures 4".
