This camera is designed first and foremost for ease of use. Installation and setup is as simple as plugging in a LAN cable and mounting the camera where you want to view. The included software allows you to connect to your IP cameras from anywhere in the world using just the camera ID and password. You don't have mess with network settings, change your firewall, or pay for an expensive fixed IP. The camera also comes mobile apps for Android and iOS, which let you monitor your cameras using your smartphone.

The camera features two separate sets of lenses and sensors, one tuned for daytime use and the other for night use. The night lens can capture images up to 30 feet away using the built-in IR illumination LEDs.

The camera can capture/record video to a local PC, network attached storage, or to a micro SD card installed in the camera. It supports timed recording as well as recording based on a triggered event. Event triggering can be done with normal video motion detection, audio detection, and infrared detection.

The camera includes a microphone and a 3.5mm speaker jack (speaker not included), so you can communicate in real-time with whoever happens to be at the camera location, making it a perfect tool for safely checking deliveries at the door. It supports both wired and wireless connections, allowing it to be used in locations where you might not have Ethernet cable installed. It is powered with a 5 VDC AC Adapter (included) and comes with a mounting stand.

Note that the basic iPhone®/iPad® app is now available as a free download from the Apple Apps Store on iTunes. Additionally, the Android app is now available as a free download from the Google Play Store.
