Not wet - Avoid
|
Pros: They are swabs. There are 20 in the box.
Cons: Hard to open. Not wet at all.
These come in 10 pairs in hard to open packaging. There is a notch to make tearing easier, but it's still a pain. But the deal-killer is the swabs are not wet at all. They are not wet "for only a few seconds" like said in the other review. I opened three after the first seemed dry after brief use, and the other two were bone dry when the package was torn open. The features say "soft-tipped on one side and more porous on the other". Not true. One texture. Avoid this product.

Sorry for the problems you ran into with the cleaning swabs and them not being as advertised. I will have our Product Team review this item for any issues and necessary changes. If you like and care to try a replacement I can get that setup for you or if you no longer have a need for the item I can issue an RMA for a return. I would just need an order number to get the process started. Again my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I can try a replacement, but considering I'm not the first to complain of this issue (see other review) I am unsure what good it will do.

I got the new box of swabs a couple days ago. These swabs aren't dry, they are as advertised. I'd love to get the other replacement box. How can I update my review?

I ordered three boxes of these swabs. However being a huge fan of Monoprice I thought of taking a chance of buying an unreviewed item. I will say the product doesn't meet any expectation at all. The moisture goes off in few seconds can't clean well. Huge dis-satisfaction.

Hi Tjayi,
Thanks for your response. The order was placed via order 7231916. I ordered 3 packs of the same one of them I opened the other 2 are still unopened. The issue is I do need something which can go inside the keys and I can clean my laptop keyboard easily.
