Designed & engineered in the USA, this professional quality microphone features a 6-micron gold sputtered diaphragm with a diameter of 7/8" for superior responsiveness, allowing your recording sessions to be captured in stunning detail, and providing a bright presence to express your sound's full sonic potential.

A switchable high-pass filter with 6dB/octave attenuation at 150 Hz helps reduce bass boom from the proximity effect, while a second switch enables a -10dB pre-attenuation pad, which reduces the possibility of overloading the mic's internal circuitry.

This microphone uses a cardiod pickup pattern and reproduces frequencies from 30Hz to 20Khz. It has extremely low internal self-noise at 19dB, a -36dB sensitivity, and a very high maximum SPL of 137dB (or 147dB with 10dB pad enabled).

The mic requires 48V phantom power* to operate and uses a standard XLR connection. Its gold XLR pins ensure that your sound will maintain its full integrity from the first cable connection to the last.

This microphone comes with a shock mount, which isolates the microphone from vibrations on the mic stand. We also include an extra set of replacement shock mount bands. The mic measures about 6.2" long x 2.3" diameter. The shock mount measures approximately 5.7" x 4.6" x 2.6", which connects to a microphone stand with a 5/8" screw thread size.
