Pros: Size, style.
Cons: Sharp edges, gets "shiny" quickly.
I've been using over-sized mouse pads for many years, I love having my arm resting on a surface that isn't as cold and hard as the desk. Most pads I've used have been just "perfectly fine" to the point you don't really think about it. Most start to fray around the edges after a few thousand miles, they get dirty and occasionally develop thin wear spots. The Precision Gaming Surface isn't made just from standard material, which leads me to believe it will last for much longer than conventional pads, but also leads to my major complaint: the top layer has some material that is a bit "plastic-y", which can be felt all around the edge of the pad. My forearm normally rest on the edge of the mat and the sensitive portion of my skin is constantly being rubbed along it. This leads me to move my mouse to the bottom of the pad, only utilizing a small portion of it instead of how I had wanted to use it (having the pad hang off the desk doesn't seem a viable solution). I understand that if I had a different setup this might not be an issue, but the chair and desk I have are what I'm sticking with, so I will instead be replacing this pad with a non-gaming pad in hopes it will be more comfortable.

Pros: Its big, cheap, and works great with my mouse.
Cons: none
Ive had this for half a year now and never had any complaints with it. Its a simple mouse pad with no extras and a nice cheap price. The black color shows spots easily but a little water will clean it up again.

Definitely pleased with this purchase
|
Pros: Large, Inexpensive
Cons: Can move around the table
This product is great, and absolutely lived up to my moderate expectations. The large surface area is pretty great, and it looks nice and works well. The pad can move, but doesn't with normal use.

Pros: Attractive pricing
Cons: rubbery
Does not feel very nice on skin
This is the worst cloth mousepad I tried, I have went through funcs, steelpads of both kinds, rival pads, ix pads, etc... There is little friction but significant tug, it feels slightly abrasive when running your hand over it, and it is hard to reproduce consistent movement on it.
Got this item as a tertiary pad, won't be using it as a keyboard pad even as it is annoying to touch. Of course, better than nothing, but double up your budget and get something worthwhile...

Expansive Black

Pros: LARGE size, excellent surface, super fine fabric, great feel and glide with multiple different mice.
Cons: one con: Edge of pad is extremely rough and scratchy
This would be an easy 10 except for the one major con...If you are using a mouse to do general browsing and only your wrist and hand are moving everything is ok. But when you are using the whole surface such as in the gaming it is advertised for you're arm starts to move and will get noticeably scratched when making large or fast movements. I have to wear a sweatshirt or long sleeve shirt when playing a first person shooter. So if you are ok with wearing protection to play a game or use a more casual approach to mousing I highly recommend this pad.

Excellent mousepad at a great price
|
Pros: LARGE, and I mean really large!
Nice smooth surface for mouse.
Rubber bottom keeps grip on slippery surfaces.
Low profile won't cause wrist issues.
Cons: Outgassing rubber, strong smell, disappears after a few days.
I ordered a few of these pads for home, work, and for a friend. I didn't realize just how large they are. My friend commented "that isn't a mousepad, it's a placemat!" But you can't complain about the large size for the low cost. This is an excellent surface mouse pad, smooth, soft, my mice glide over them effortlessly with great tracking. They came in a large box as others have mentioned, but I also ordered some other things so I didn't mind, given the large size of the pad they have to come in a large container. Small tasteful logo on the pad.
My only complaint was the very strong "new rubber" odor when they were unwrapped, it disappears after a few days though. Air yours out in the garage before you start using it and you won't have any problems.
The nice thing is that the pad is easily cut down to size if you find it too large. Buy one and cut it in half and you'll still have two large mousepads, or cut it in quarters for 4 reasonably sized ones.
Excellent value product from Monoprice, easily a recommended buy.

Perfect! Big and thin!

Pros: Huge surface, thin, smooth top, gripping bottom.
Cons: Came in an even bigger box. The surface wasn't rolled up, but that meant the box was a little excessive to me. Being black, it makes dust and such very visible.
It's a huge surface, and it's thinner than most mouse pads I've owned. That means it doesn't gnaw at your wrist, and you won't be running your mouse off the edge either. The cloth layer on top is silky smooth yet well textured. The rubberized bottom grips when you need it, and yet it's easy to move when you don't have any pressure on it. I absolutely love this thing, and would recommend it to anyone who's annoyed with running out of room.

Pros: -Perfect Size
-Perfect Thickness
-Works great with my laser mouse
Cons: -Has dent in it from shipping
This is a great size pad and exactly what I was looking for. It has the quality you would come to expect from Monoprice. My only complaint is that it has a dent in it from where it was folded in half for shipping. Purely aesthetic though, does not effect quality at all.

Good Surface for magic mouse
|
Pros: its a good size surface
Cons: smells weird, and the smell is strong.
I have a glossy table, bought it unknowningly, and then magic mouse wouldn't work on the table. this product saved me, with this pad on the table, everything works.

Was looking for a better mouse pad and for gaming this mouse pad is so so the glide surface I find isn't to slippery with the Logitech G700 mouse. Playing around in windows and surfing the web this mouse pad is good.

Better than popular Game brands (Razer, Steelseries, etc.)

Pros: Half the price of Razer Goliathus Alpha (large). Solid black color. Not too thin, not too thick. Huge. Very smooth glide when using mouse. Build quality looks perfect.
Cons: None
I own Razer Goliathus Alpha Speed and a Puretrak Talent. This mouse pad is in no way inferior to them and at only half the price. The surface has a very unique feel that makes other mouse pads seem coarse. The microfibers seem very tightly woven together. The glide with my deathadder mouse is highly smooth and uniform. This is worth the price.

Best mouse mat I've ever purchased.
|
Pros: Surface is excellent for gaming mice (currently using a Razer Mamba 2012 Edition) and it works better on this mouse mat than it does on the official Razer one.
This thing is HUGE! Depending on your setup, you may want a smaller one but this is perfect for what I needed.
Less than 10 dollars for something like this is insane... I payed 30 dollars for a smaller and lower quality "Pro" mouse mat from Razer and was not satisfied. I bought a total 3 of these, one for myself, my mom and brother and it was only 10 dollars more due to shipping. Worth it.
It cleans! You read that right, this thing just grabs dust off the bottom of anything you put on it. I may sound a bit sarcastic but the dust that gathered on my mouse through the last mouse mat I had was just not good, especially for gaming performance. As soon as I put my mouse on this thing it cleaned all the dust from my mouse away. The dust on the mat was easy to clean off with just a wipe of a soft cloth.
Cons: The packaging, or lack thereof, was nothing but a bit of plastic covering it all around. Then again, why do you need packaging for something so simple?
The edges are a bit rough and can annoy the bottom of my arm as I rest it on my table, but that may also be dependent on the way I have things set up on my desk.
Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. It was cheap, shipping was fast and I don't think I'll be going back to my old one anytime soon.
